I read Lolita a few months ago, one of the best books I’ve ever read that left me feeling absolutely repulsed at the green stinklines of a character Humbert is (talk about her toes one more time and I swear to god). I’m glad Dolores got a somewhat happy ending
I've read the unbecoming of mara dyer and constantly forget the fact that she's an unreliable narrator, as I was trying to piece together what was real and what wasnt.
Thabks for the recommendations. I might check out Room, The Girl On The Train, The Woman In The Window, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, and Confessions Of A Shoppaholic. All of these book except the last one had narrators that are unreliable but also innocent in the matter. Unlike American Psycho and Lolita which is anything but innocent. I would also like to read House Of Leaves. But not only are the narrators\editors unreliable, but the formatting of the book is... not conventional to say the least. Thank you for the video!
A book that could have been on the list is The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe. My personal favorite by him. And great to see A Clockwork Orange here. One of the best books ever written in my humble opinion.
Forgot the jezeusian mythologies 👀 Jesus never did the following: •Ezekiel 37:21. Bring the Jewish people back to Israel •Ezekiel 37:22 one nation with a king •Ezekiel 37:24 Jewish people will all do the teachings of G-d. •Isaiah 11:9-10 world wide knowledge of G-d. •Ezekiel 37 & 47 building of the third Temple which will stand forever. •Isaiah 2:4 No More war •Deuteronomy 17:8-11 Jesus did not fullfil the Law. He was never recognized as a prophet or Messiah.

Shout out to classic literature books with unreliable and often times morally dubious main characters. Gotta be one if my favourite genders!

Was hoping The Prison Healer would make the list
The Prison Healer is so good, it's what got me into reading back in 2021 after a huge slump
I'm curious now, do Frederick or Miranda from "The Collector" count as unreliable narrators? And what is an UN essentially?

Same for me with A Clockwork Orange.
1:49 The Room. This looks interesting. Has anyone read it?
