You guys are so lucky to have that incredible canal system. I'm always amazed at the energy of your pike too. The UK has much cleaner water and I totally love not seeing trash on the bank. Thanks for the quality of your videos. I'm an older guy now but remember well fishing our creeks in northern Wisconsin as a boy. Your vids take me back 50yrs and enjoy every second of it.

While it is nice to enjoy clean rivers, the UK is probably one of the worst countries in Europe for litter. Wouldn't look good in a video.

    • @BUSTERy

This river probably has a full time bailiff ect to stop that, I think it's a private fishery. Public rivers and lakes can be a lot different. I almost come to blows a couple of times a year, asking people to take their crap home with them. Pet hate litter!

Yeah this is unfortunately the exception and not the rule. This is a stunning stretch and they do exist, but generally our waters are heavily polluted, full of rubbish and/or bodies. These stretches are usually reserved for a game anglers at costs of sometimes hundreds a day

To keep from losing your plastics try using pop rivets, 1 at entrance and 1 at exit, and then threading the leader through the tunnel that creates and then attaching the treble. I do this for musky on way bigger plastics than that and the hook up prevent with a single treble is essentially the same.
