I put the TRD on my 2019 4.6L. Sounds like a locomotive off in the distance. Absolutely love it and wife approved. Not loud, no drone. Stock I couldn’t hear the truck in 4, 5 and 6 gears, now I can tell what it’s doing.
Quick tip for you when doing exhaust, install the exhaust components first onto the hangers then tighten up the bolts. In order to have play to install the bolts and less stress.
Also that heat shield replaces the rear skinny one. It is on the bottom of the bed a little behind the rear axle kind of on the passenger side. The old one has an arrow facing towards the front of the truck. The heat shield that came with the kit, the bolt hole that's in more of a circle faces towards the front of the truck.
Very nice video and nicely installed. I’m thinking about installing one on my 2019 1794, and was debating whether to have dealer install or do it myself. After watching your video, I decided to install it myself. Save me that installation fee😁 Thank you for sharing your video.
Can I get the old one from you? I just installed the MF #19232 that I purchased from someone. I read somewhere that I had to remove the spare tire. I didn't want to permanently do that. So I call MF to verify and was told that only need to remove it for installation. Well now my spare is in the bed because I won't go back underneath with this set up. Guess I'll try and find a muffler shop that can bend/fab me some side exhaust pipes.
NK1794 Thanks for reply. I’ll get it to one of the shops around here. Hopefully they can figure out why one side looks fine and the other side is barely visible.
Would you be willing to help me install a front sway bar, rear sway bar and TRD cat-back exhaust on my 2015 1794 4X4. I would do all the work. You can just point out tips and mistakes during the installs if any. I'd you of course and bring my own tools and gear too if you prefer.
Thanks. I ordered them from the local dealership. They are about $1500 total. Here are the part numbers Part #s Exhaust System, PTR03-34160 Dual Tail Pipe Kit, PTR03-34161
NK1794 I just got a quote today for an install at North Park Toyota here in San Antonio, Texas. The quote for complete install of the e TRD exhaust system was $1250.00. I think I will go with that price and have them install it. Thanks fo the great video.
I know you mentioned that the TRD was a little louder at the beginning of your trip. How is it overall? Was the magnaflow quieter on the highway? How was the drone on the magnaflow?
I have a 2018 tundra crewmax, would this install be the same for my truck? What gaskets did it come with? I read you re-used some gaskets. Thanks alot! Nice video man.
You fellas need to consider having a local qualified muffler shop add a dual exhaust with welds, run the tips straight out the rear, looks better, sounds better. You'll get a better sounding system and you'll save big bucks. The TRD exhaust is over priced, cost can be 500 to 900 bucks just for the parts. A local quality shop will do it for around 250.00. Old Fred has 24" black polished stainless tips. Purrs like a kitten sports fans.
Fred Sausage you have it right. Do you happen to know the dual inlet diameter, And the single exhaust diameter? 19 here but am assuming the past few years are all the same, Thanks jimmy dean.

Yes, I made correction on the description section.
Nice job man. You did a good job with all of your camera angles and showing what you did. Great video!
Thank you, sir! Appreciated the comment and for subscribing.

@@NK1794 i wish my truck can stay rust free like yours i live in mn the snow and road salt eat at my frame so sad for my 15 trd pro.
qoua vang That’s brutal on your truck. I would not survive there. LOL

Great video man, got yourself a subscriber!! Waiting to get my hands on a 2019 TRD PRO. Awesome truck love it
Thank you. I appreciate your feedback and for subscribing. 2019 TRD Pro? When is that available? Awesome truck.
NK1794 its not available yet. I got a dealer who always gets them and I called it in months ago. There's no physical paperwork tho. 🙏🏼
I would just go with the 2018. I hate to wait. :-) Good luck.
I just got my 2019 TRD Pro on Saturday in white sick truck sounds great I’m very happy
Glad i could help
Love mine had a shop installed it a while back
Was the Magnaflow a kit? (catback?) or was it a muffler shop setup with a Magnaflow?
So the reason for the switch was the ~2K drone/hum?
Thx
MJ
It was this one www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FG9G2ES/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah, I didn't like the drone.
I applaud you for install it all by yourself, do you have any friends that willing to help for beers or foods? LOL
Does it have any drone on the highway?
Corsa Performance...FKN LOVE IT!!!
Sounds like a honda side by side atv, gladi went with carven lol, wish i got Spintech but all good.

I already sold it. A muffler shop should be able to fix that for you.

great video
Thank you
were the bolts and nuts connecting the tail pipes to the muffler serrated at all to keep them from loosening up in the long run?

Hi Larry, I think after you watched all my videos you should be able to do the install yourself. You can do it! :-)
Thanks man. great video by the way.
Any part number on the trd exhaust tips?
Where did you buy your TRD dual exhaust? Thanks.
From local Toyota dealership.
Thanks again. I’ve found a few sites but they are only a few dollars less than my local Toyota dealership.
Did you install a heat shield for the new pipe? doesn’t look like it needs any welding
Purchase a new hanger for the passenger side exhaust. If you use the stock hanger there will be a noticeable sag in it.
Is that a TRD exhaust system, where did you find it online?
Just search for these two items. Exhaust System, PTR03-34160
Dual Tail Pipe Kit, PTR03-34161
I ordered from local dealership
Looking to get an exhaust for my tundra did you get rid of your old one if not would you wanna donate it to my tundra? I’m on a budget lol or sell.
I'm keeping the old exhaust. Thanks for watching.
Thank you !!!!
You're welcome. Thank you for watching.
very nice detail video where you order parts ? and how much .
Thanks. I ordered them from the local dealership. They are about $1500 total. Here are the part numbers Part #s

Jaime Santillan That’s an awesome deal. Congrats! You gonna love the sound.
@@NK1794 do you know the difference between PTR03-34190 and PTR03-34191? they are on sale now both for like 800
I thought two people put this exhaust on, I only saw one, lol...
I have a single exhaust on my 2014 tundra. What you think
Sothea Mam Not really. I did it for looks and sound. :-)
I know you mentioned that the TRD was a little louder at the beginning of your trip. How is it overall? Was the magnaflow quieter on the highway? How was the drone on the magnaflow?
I'm happy with the TRD. It's quiet during cruising but roars when I punch it.The drone on the Magnaflow is like a hum, at 1800-2000 RPM.
NK1794 thanks!
You’re welcome. Let me know what you decide to get.
NK1794 just ordered the TRD, with an extra hanger. Thanks for the info. You have some of the best install videos.
Thank you for the feedback. Let me know how the installation goes.
Nice job..can you tell the difference between power, after installing the trd exhaust
Sothea Mam Thanks. Didnt notice any power increase but it sounds great.
NK1794 any increase or decrease in gas mileage
When you changed from single to duel trd exhaust did you loose any low end torque?
Where and how did you end up adding the heat shield
The new heat shield that came with the kit is actually for replacing the existing one on the passenger side. It's NOT for the driver's side.
Dear how much you buy ? And from where you buy it ?
how much did this cost?
It was about $1200.00
How is the drone?
Great job!!!!!!!!
Do you still have your magna flow exhaust..how much you want for that
Nope. Sold it awhile ago.
was it worth the money? are you happy with it?
Yes, I liked it and I think it was worth the money.
Mufflers are too big for my liking. I like it a little louder.
I have a 2018 tundra crewmax, would this install be the same for my truck? What gaskets did it come with? I read you re-used some gaskets. Thanks alot! Nice video man.
The installation should be the same on your 2018.It did not come with any gasket. You can reuse existing gaskets.Thank you.
How long did the install take you ??
Templar Knights, It took a couple of hours.
@@NK1794 Thanks. I watched your other video about the skid plate install. Why didn't you go with RCI skid plate ?
I went with the TRD because it's bigger and covers more area.
Makes sense. I never personally felt the TRD skid plate, I wasn't sure how thick the plate would be.
The RCI is segmented.
The TRD is heavy duty and well made IMO.

is this kit from toyota ?amazon?
Cannondale2019 From the dealership.
Using the old exhaust gaskets equals exhaust leaks...
Tested good and no leaks.
NK1794 that's good
Are you in California??
Yes
NK1794 I thought so because of how it looked. I live up in Northern California by Stockton.
13.44 passenger looks lower
