Have you tried this mask with the center pleat as a small box pleat so it lays to both sides - then 2-3 pleats laying towards the ear on each side? I find that makes a softer place for my nose and keeps the mask from shifting. I also stop my glasses from fogging by sewing a 3 inch strip of Twill tape on the inside of the top center and slipping a bendable nose wire in under the twill tape.

Next, I see you fold over three pleats and press them, and in the next frame (after stitching across the edges of the pleats I assume??) there are suddenly 5 pleats; last, are the elastic measurements the same for all 3 sizes? Please clarify. Thx!
Beautiful mask. Love the feminine touch with the lace edge. I hadn't thought of that. Also love the way the pleats were done. Very crisp and lovely. Great tutorial.

Beatiful design, however.... I read before that is better not to use pins. They leave tiny holes. It's better to use clips. That minor issue will not stop me from making this cute and very feminine mask. 👍
I watched a video yesterday where she proved that pins do not leave holes. The fabric goes right back in place. I will try to find the video so that you can make up your own mind. It's a great video. I learned a lot from it. I'll look for it now. I think I saved it.

This is a really cute mask but it's not protective from the virus. Where is the filter pocket? Every mask needs to have a filter or it's not virus protective.

A virus can go in through your skin and eyes. Especially if you have a cut. You can get a virus from kissing your dog or cat. You can eat it. People with breathing, heart and sinus problems NEED SOME AIR.

If you tap on the three dots that are in the upper right corner of the video you can select a slower play back speed That might help you see how she did the pleats. I think what she did is used a razor to make little cuts at the edge of the fabric making it easier to make those pleats. what I really like about this particular design is that it eliminates the seam down the middle of your face which could let in the virus particles

When you press the pleat, just hold the iron still on the pleat, do not move the iron around or the cotton can stretch and make the pleats wonky. Just press the iron onto the pleat for a few seconds.

I used two layers of fabric in order to have a pocket for the filter.

Actually, I think she was using tailor's chalk to mark the spacing of the additional pleats, using the distance between the first ones as a guide.
