Just followed the first four steps.. the rest don't apply to my problems...still takes awhile to boot up, but pages change fast, which is an improvement.. i'm old (71) and afraid to try a different browser.. I was hacked in May and lost my c drive with microsoft.. NO help from them.. had to buy a new laptop and start over, but original email settings are locked.. had to open "add a user".. and luckily I had some information saved in the cloud, but lost 15 years worth of saved e-mail information.. I've saved you to Favorites for future reference.. thanks..

What to do because, my microsoft edge is found in the default apps and not in apps and features which is why it doesn't have modify and uninstall options.
If that so then skip that step and focus on other steps 👍

U can’t delete Microsoft edge omg mine loads up but just stays on my taskbar. It won’t open
You can search troubleshooter and select edge browser to fix it. 👍
My not working
Update the windows to the latest updates also
Click the Start button and in the search bar, type: CMD.
Right-click CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator.
Click Yes on the User Account Control (UAC) prompt that appears.
Once the blinking cursor appears, type: SFC /scannow
And restart then run
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command with the same process.
It will repair all the windows files

Create a new user account and then try Repairing Windows
Search cmd then run as admin and execute the following 3 commands one by one-
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Restart.
Once Done Trying Running System File Checker SFC Scan
sfc /scannow
Restart.
Windows Updates-
Install all the latest Updates and then Restart the PC.

can you solve the problem with noteresponding games and cant type in search bar it got problem when i saw and done some steps for speeding cpu proceser by lokking your vidio
Windows search takes lot of resources as it does Indexing every time to make the available for you. If you want to activate Open the run Window by pressing Window and R Key together type there
C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe
Also in services make sure Windows search service is active and automatic
