Over the short course of their existence electric bikes and mopeds have proved to be a decent alternative to cars and motorcycles, at least when used within the urban city zones. If you ask anyone who has ridden this emerging form of transportation, ebikes can do most things motorcycles can but for carrying a passenger.
This situation has prompted various manufacturers to get back to the drawing boards in an effort of creating a battery-powered two-wheeler with significantly improved cargo carrying capacity (and an ability to seat a passenger).
The design the most manufacturers came up with is very similar to classic mopeds: they have fat, puncture-resistant tires, powerful motors that in some cases exceed the output of 1000 Watts and long bench seats offering ample space for carrying a passengers (in some cases the seat cushion can be replaced with an additional cargo rack).

Problem with moped style is they dont work for short people. Ladies mostly
