i just got one of these little babies in Manila, Philippines (at a shop called Pro Scooter).. i got the Fiido Q1s (which has way better suspension/Shock Absorbers). i actually came to pay off and pick up a stand up scooter (Dual Motor power muththa'fu#ka) and i saw the Fiido Q1s.. and went hmmmmmm.. asked questions, and gradually switched over.. So, some of the things that they allowed me to do in this shop (at an extra cost - of course), that helped that switchover decision.. where upgrades that make this "Scooter" more powerful... First i got a longer seat put on it (like yours in this video).. and asked to have an ignition switch installed (to turn it on with a key).. Then the most important upgrade was putting in a more powerful BATTERY.. it gives this little badboy way more torque, speed (around 40 to 45 mph.. with me on it - i'm about 200 lbs, 5ft 11).. and the battery last way longer.. Did my first test (after 2 rainy days in Manila).. and i'm very happy with it.. it Climbs hills really cool.. just found that out coming from an underground parking lot.. and it speeds down the street. At first i was being super careful, but i'm getting more use to how it rides now, and i can see myself being a super freak on it.. GET A HELMET Before you got nuts on it. I would like to add, 2 things i had problems with (out the box).. First, the way it accelerates when you hit the throttle (its herky jerky), and trying to adjust to that.. when i told the Shop owner.. he said "oh, use this app".. and transferred an app to my phone. That App made all the difference in the world.. you are able to calibrate "Fast Start" & "Slow Start" settings that make the throttle acceleration more smoother (i had a similar problem with my Wide Wheel Pro scooter, and had to order a whole different throttle to make that issue go away)... The other little issue is sometimes the bike.. oops "Scooter" tends to want to pop a wheely.. and i have to be careful not to sit to far back on the seat when i'm starting off.. other than that.. This thing is a beast (with the battery upgrade) .. The brakes are GREAT.. & i love that there are brakes for both tires.. I added an aftermarket headlight on the handle bars that has 800 Lumens, it came with a tail light, but i don't do much night riding, i'm not sure that's so safe, with how small this thing is.. it might be hard to be seen).. But this is going to be one of my new best friends.. Searching for a Lock for it (the one that came with it is a joke).. Any suggestions???
A scooter that looks like an E bike, more confusion for the cops, another loophole to travel at 65 kph with no restrictions, wow the E revolution is here to stay!
I have the Fiido M1 which is my first bike in 20 year and I’m really enjoying it despite having no clue about bikes nevermind e-bikes 😂 - I got mine off the Fiido website and shipping to the UK took about 5 days.
Good info. For me ebike without full suspension is non starter. Especially for heavy one. Vibrations will shatter it into pieces in long term use. I like this one but would not ride it fast. Looks dangerous for fast rides. I like small dimensions too.

I agree. I think he meant 500W nominal. More than 2000W through through that tiny motor and the risk of frying it would be considerable IMHO. I could certainly see this take 750W, maybe even 1000W reliably. 5000W would be enough to take you over 100 km/h. Yet this thing seem to top out at around 60 km/h.
Thanks for the video, the best I saw on the Fiido Q1 / Q1S!! I want one, I may buy it in a few months, but yes, I will mod it for sure, at least have a 2 or 3kW motor(s).
It'll be around the same price as a used motorcycle, and close a new pre-made ebike with less or near the amount of power compared to customizing it to your liking/needs.
The small size of it clearly indicates a lot of uncomfortable riders steering away from it including couriers because it’s no doubt too small to feel comfortable and safe as in noticeable to other road users while riding this wee no doubt really cool looking ebike but it’s simply too small to be accepted on roads without being pulled over and most likely fined by the police, ebikes which are of normal bike size are here to stay and be accepted on the roads either if road illegal or not as the police generally won’t back-an-eye if your riding at no faster than 20/25mph then it’s not a hazard nor a hazard if you’re easily noticeable to other road users as this is clearly a big consideration everyone who rides on the road thinks about due to the obviousness about not being seen then suddenly being hit because well like I said already if you’re on a bike which is too small then it’s more difficult to notice and makes the rider difficult to see especially in busy city’s which is where ebikes dominate

Also, "I'm foolish enough to buy something that's illegal"....but it's fine for the govenment to charge VAT/profit on those illegal items? And the UK law on a number of things, not just transport, is both VERY outdated and biased (try having a fair divorce in the UK - that's a joy to behold!). This country on a number of things is slowly but very surely going down the sh*tter and it's us.....well, people like you, that are allowing it to happen.
Yeah it goes too fast and is even illegal under the moped classification so closest it comes to is a motorbike which this one doesn't go fast enough to go on the freeway for but it would only be allowed on car roads no bike lanes
I would love one of these fiido q1 bikes I've been watching these bikes for a long time keep in touch with me
It's all about 250w maximum motor size in the UK until that changes we're stuffed
Its 250Watt AND 15,5mph max speed, and the same for the whole of Europe
i just got one of these little babies in Manila, Philippines (at a shop called Pro Scooter).. i got the Fiido Q1s (which has way better suspension/Shock Absorbers). i actually came to pay off and pick up a stand up scooter (Dual Motor power muththa'fu#ka) and i saw the Fiido Q1s.. and went hmmmmmm.. asked questions, and gradually switched over..
I really like how that yellow headlight looks on it. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Is it road legal?
A heck of lot of money for something to mess around on if not.
Good ques Mr. Flintstone
It's not road legal. It's effectively a moped/motorbike
Needs a registration, insurance and a licence to ride on the road...
Is definitely not legal
Uk law say is have a pedal its no ride mor than 15m/h is legal to use
I have the Fiido M1 which is my first bike in 20 year and I’m really enjoying it despite having no clue about bikes nevermind e-bikes 😂 - I got mine off the Fiido website and shipping to the UK took about 5 days.
how. much bud
@@ThisOldPanda sure it was about £800
Good info. For me ebike without full suspension is non starter. Especially for heavy one. Vibrations will shatter it into pieces in long term use. I like this one but would not ride it fast. Looks dangerous for fast rides. I like small dimensions too.
I have two e-bikes one with no suspension and one with full.
The no suspension bike is scary and uncomfortable at higher speeds.
Ive made an electric trike with written off cellular tower batteries. 210ah 36v pack...range 350+km on a single charge...best part it was almost free....Always amazes me how high the prices are for ready made ebikes...
I wanna see this!
Not everyone knows how to mount/ fix kits. This is where businesses take advantage of.
Make a bike with forks or fenders that have the batteries in them that sit lower than the axles, and you instantly boost stability beyond any other electric bike.

Yes i just seen these today and would love to have one!! I feel like they should be a hit!! Cannot find anything on them.. bummer!!
Amazing review. I’m so tempted to buy an e bike.
This is not classed as an e-bike in the UK with the current rules in place, you cannot legally ride this on a road yet.
I agree with you, it is so much fun. I just received my q1s original. I cannot resit: I am going to add a second motor...
Is this available for shipping to Canada and how much would this cost
4k
I'm mad in love with that little bike!! I'm 6'2' could I ever,,,?
See you in hospital after the first pothole lol. Although I guess if you just buzz around the olympic park there's no worry of that...
I bought a Jetson Bolt and honestly it was the best purchase I have ever made in my life TBH. I don't even drink and I ran into a liquor store for someone else bringing it actually in with me when I stepped up to the counter to pay it was slightly out my view and someone went right out the door with it. Mind you I happen to live in the most dangerous city in America highest murder rate and everything else to match. It takes a certain type of person to live here, just sayin. I haven't been able to afford to get another Jetson bolt since but I am so eager to one day get another one but I'm not too optimistic due to poverty. I'm saying this to say check out the Jetson Bolt or the Jetson Bolt Pro they're absolutely amazing and the absolute best buy for how cheap it is. 😘😘😘
No suspension, would be harsh at then speeds 🥴🥴🥴
Indonesia already has big community with this bike
Huge question; what's the hill climb ability like on the 250w model?
None
@@angelteamnolimit624@72 v it will pull me up with stock motor same amps as 36,36 won’t work I’m heavy tho
I’d suggest putting some kind of pad on the frame where it would rest on your hip in the case you had to carry up stairs or whatever it may be
I'm struggling to see how that Motor is rated for 5kw, maybe it's 60volts but that motor wouldn't handle 80amps constant
What’s this guy talking about I bought a Fido qs1 last year 🙄
By the time you finish the modifications on them you’ll be into it for over £1000+
It'll be around the same price as a used motorcycle, and close a new pre-made ebike with less or near the amount of power compared to customizing it to your liking/needs.
How far do get in Distance as far as battery life?
Nice work MOJA!
Punctuations are too valuable to use on RUclips comments I agree so thanks for splurging and giving us the one comma because I haven't seen one for a long time being so small and hard to see not being used often it's like people don't bother to even separate any thoughts and just let the comment keep going like every thought that comes up out of their heads without putting in any pauses or breaks to make it any easier to read when you're on the toilet bowl so long that the seat leaves those really deep red marks on your bum and you've forgotten to replace the toilet paper just leaving the old tube on the tube with with one square like that Seinfeld episode as if that's going to do anything but there you are and so you turn your sock inside out even though it was the one you got for your nineteenth birthday party from you grandma Sally whose dead now even bough she never smoked cigarettes got cancer from the third husband who was always smoking way too much like three packs a day of those Camels with no filters that look cool AF but you know are just a burning chemical binkie so might as well put a gun in your mouth am I right holy shit what the fuck did she put in my drink I'm like starting to passssss ouuuuutttttttt............................
i've mod fiido q1 with 3000w motor ,yuyanking controller (*with bluetooth for more detail information and setting) + 84 volt battery .able to troll dualtron also i never touch the top speed run ,my own record just 96km/h cause unstable ,top speed around 120km/h .
the frame actually quite stable and suitable for mod .
That’s awesome & I’d get one… but as soon as the 🐷 see you riding it’ll probably get confiscated right??
Shame the rules here suck :(
Decent fiido that. I love the modabilty of the bike and it just looks awesome
Dangerous and irresponsible to say two people could travel on it when as far as i can see there are no passenger footpegs
Haaaaaaahaaaaa...roflmao
This eBike rules. This will be Heaven on earth for me. I can save money and make money on this little but mighty eBike.
not really an "e-bike" by UK/EU definition of the word... just a scooter
They need to upgrade this because it really has a potential in it
A 5000w motor should be going 80-100 KM/H not 65.
For real. It's probably 5000w peak power
Specs everywhere online say 500w not 5000w
@@shamusjackal exactly. Way to small a motor to even be an close to 1500W. That's a 500W geared hub motor. Certainly NOT a 5000W !

That’s the smallest 5000 watt motor I’ve ever seen.
Exactly my taughts, lol
i have mine built from the ground up. Already upgraded 3200w. all DIY
No one else has seen? If you ride escooters, you already know what this is. Also, this isn't legal either. It's an escooter with a seat.
legaly it is a bike .......
in england it is fully legal
@@superted2552 You are wrong. But I'm sure you really know that. It doesn't meet EAPC rules. It's effectively a moped and would need to be registered, taxed, insured etc

@@superted2552 Nope, it's a motor vehicle in the eyes of the law, just the same as a kid's motorbike, or a ride on lawnmower. Illegal to use on the road....
Hands down the coolest electric bike I've ever seen. It's gorgeous.
How many have you seen? Bikes ca be pedaled. My Ebike has derailleur gears, disk brakes,m folds in the middle, and it can be pedaled if the battery goes dead. I dont think you have seen very many.
@@ziblot1235 It's much cooler than your bike
The DYU D3 VIP with same spec (36v 10ah, 250W, 14" wheels) is cheaper, around £589.
True just like the bolt and bolt pro, but at the same time their frames can't compare to this one. You can easily fit 2 pretty decent batteries or 1 big battery with good amps. Not to mention there isn't suspension on any of these whatsoever and it's uncomfortable it what I call "riding a camel" this q1 seems to look like it has some suspension. Also upgrading those bikes are a bit limited compared to this one shown.
I'm loving the silent electric revolution incoming. Electric is pure freedom.
It is not an e-Bike as it has no bicycling mechanism, it should require a motorcycle driving license and damage insurance( E-Scooter allows you to kick for power :-)
I mean, you could use your legs to propel this ;)
@@Tresla Indeed, those are called e-Toddler-Balancing-Bikes
ive got the total dogs bollox of one that i`m about to put up for sale. . .pure animal and even had a rear rack to fit luggage too..
60V 28 Amp per hour battery
500W rear hub
72V pre programmed speed controller with 3 speeds
ZERO 10 limited addition display screen
Love it, but is is so obviously illegal, you wouldn't even need to be stopped by a cop with knowledge. We need the laws changing. They need to release a on the road license moped version.
Why even offer 250w with no pedal and a throttle it doesn't remotely comply with current laws.
Wonder how hard it would be to get it through msva test and how much insurance would be.
My thoughts too. This thing is practically a motorbike. No reason it should be treated any differently imo.
@@Tresla i think they should be treated differently, upto abut 1kw, USA has a sensiable implementation imo with there 3 classes. but my point is at the moment these arent legal and any cop could spot that from a 100m away, unlike a ebike with pedals that is just over the wattage.
Definitely looks awesome, but I'm gonna be that guy and say there are several scooters that top 65kph lol Rion scooters are pretty nuts.
hope you got this electric motor bike MOTed, registered, fitted a number plate and have insurance or you will be hit with lot of driving offences.
And don't forget suitable motorcycle helmet and clothing.
Apart from the olympic park / private land - I don't think there is anywhere where you can legally ride this bike... So setting it up as commuting solution is a little bit deceptive. Although I love the idea of something like this eventually being useable.
I mean I wanted a suron or a super 73 for the longest time but they are so expensive and modding them to their full potential would be really expensive as well and it's just hard for me to justify that at where I'm at in life at the moment.
"if I had £10k to spend on this bike..." Say what now?! You'd spend that much on this bike alone 🤯 If I were going to spend £10k, it'd be on an ICE 🐒 bike, an e-bike, an e-scooter and then I'd have loads of change leftover for upgrades on all 3... But that's just me 🤫
If I had £10 to spend on a bike I would buy exactly that - a bike! Zero motorcycle more precisely.

I have had a fiido d1 for nearly 2years and it has heped me so much . cost me £360 delivered. does 17mph full throttle, which is more than enough for round town.
Also i hate to be "that guy" but the GOV really need to do something about making it LEGAL to use a higher power bike / scooter. enen if that does mean a cheap road tax and insurance.
Fiido Q1 and Q1s is a huge favorite in Asia because of its customizability
I got a q1s with the same specs. Motorcyclists chat me up at red lights all the time. People are always shocked by how fast it accelerates. I wear a motorcycle helmet with it.

AHHHH SNAP....SOOO COOL..!!!!!
Sounds like fiido is testing out their market for their bikes in Singapore to see if they will be popular enough to sell in the UK and the US.
Look at size of 3000W motor for emotorcycle. Bigger than that motor. It look like more 500W motor than a 5000W
This e-bike is nice but it is illegal riding in UK! It costs 450 pound and 6 points on the driving licence.
Yeah. They just needed add some pointless front pedals to make it appear at least legal so the cops won't bother you...
I will keep my dualtron ultra 2 at 65 mph and acceleration is out of this world!!!!
I was riding a rental e scooter along marina in Singapore at 2 am and 2 dudes blew by me like I was going backwards
Caught up to a group of about 50 on these some capable of well over 100km/h
Falcon PEV in Singapore will custom modify one and ship world wide
I bought a stock one with the intentions of modifying it, but never got around to it
Way more stable than a dual motor scooter
You can ride hands free for example
Very cool. Just wish there was a bigger frame version
I have an L3 and you get used to the form factor quickly. It's quite a good form factor/ ride platform. I would have no quibble riding my full suspension, 12" wheel L3 for 40 miles....
