    I have 3 Fiido e-Bikes, the T1,M21 & Q1S, & love each one for it's own reasons! 💯
    The T1 is my workhorse, grocery getter & kid hauler, & it tackles all 3 tasks with ease, the Q1S is my fun lil run around e-Bike, it's not the fastest, but it reminds me of a Mazda Miata, they might not be the fastest cars, but the fun factor they give us on par with supercars when carving curves, the Q1S is the same, it's just a fun scooter, & the 1 that gets the most attention it seems.
    The M21 is my TANK, it is my off-road e-Bike to enjoy the awesome trails here in Reno Nevada, it's torque sensor is buttery smooth & well be hard to ever but a cadence sensor e-Bike again, it's so responsive & intuitive, & actually makes you want to pedal, so you'll get more exercise then you'd think, because the torque sensor is so nice, I pedal 90% of my rides, it's great also in snow.
    I plan on getting the Fiido X after Christmas, the reason i am brand loyal to Fiido is because their after sales service is top notch, & they really care about their customers remaining happy, even after they get your money, a rare quality in the e-Bike industry

      Glad you're happy with them, I have my review of the T1 coming and I absolutely love it. You're right it is a work horse and I've been using it for short shopping trips to pick up milk, bread and a few things without a big shop. Easy to lock up and the front basket is so handy.

    I bought this and than the himo z20 max while waiting for the V2 to arrive. I loved the speed of the fiido but thought the Himo z20 was a much more of a solid bike.
    Shortly after, the himo’s locked 25kph and 250w motor just annoyed me, other small gripes than compared to Fiido where the mechanical brakes (very bad), weight for lifting into car (awkward heavy), power drop hitting bumps (3 sec stall).
    Now I love the fiido x as it just works, smooth gears, that improved magnet, seatpost being able to extend so you can walk with bike, speed, light weight

    I see you ride with the derailleur guard. I got a Fiido X and mounted the guard, but found out it actualy sits on top of the derailleur mount. The guard deformes the derailleur position, making shifting off. It rattles with the guard. Didn't you experience the same?

    1:44 can the magnet not be tightened down with the screw that's holding it in place? Or does it need some wiggle room to be able accommodate some variance when it folds? Either way I bet you could put a washer or something behind the magnet and it would sit more snuggly.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +1

      I've tightened it up more and it rattles loose. Will fix it with some locktite and yes maybe a washer. If not I will remove it completely as I don't plan to fold it much.

      It is a bit of a pain there is also an app to use with the passcode lock but what if that fails I still think a simple key lock would have been better off than this. But yes very nice design this Fiido X.

      Where are the drum brakes? I see disks.

      @@fizziemandellokc1032 No problem.
      In actual fact drum brakes would not even be the worst decision for bikes.
      I dislike the sharp pressure point of many disk brakes. Drum brakes grab softer, and can therefore not so easily overbrake. That is also why I like a coaster brake for the rear. I know half a dozen people who crashed from overbraking the wonderful effective hydraulic disk front brake. My sister flew over the handle bars and spend 6 weeks in hospital. She will never be able to fully use her left arm/shoulder again.

    6:00 I am scared of the welds on the handlebar folding mechanisms. I have witnessed, from painful experience with a German folding bike manufacturer, how this component was dimensioned over the years more and more solid, because there were too often problems with stability. And yet they now prescribe that the complete unit (expensive) should be renewed at least every three years. It's not nice when the handlebar rod suddenly comes loose while riding.
    Another disadvantage of this folding bike seems to me that the height of the handlebar is not adjustable, so it only fits properly for one body size.
