we have to see it on the hard courts. On the clay he has more time to prepare the shot and he can play efficiently the slice. On the hard courts it's quite different, the slice is no more efficient like clay or grass too. In that case he has yet to show us that his backhand is better than before.

After all, he was world No. 6, finalist in Wimbledon and semifinalist in NY and Melbourne, not to mention the 2 Queen's and the other tournaments (not just on grass) won.
Clear, if he doesn't play because injured (as has happened in recent years) he can't be competitive, but it's equally clear that when healthy (specially in this tennis era) he's an easy top ten.

Tsitsipas, wasting time and talent with his dad. He's becoming more and more pathetic, the most unprofessional footwork when hitting the bh, I've never seen Roger or Stan moving like a flea on the court.

Interesting Matteo breaking down Stefanos backhand because that's weaker side of both men. Stefanos even his slice backhand is weak.

Top 15 are soooo bad compared to 25 years ago. Especially the Top 10. Every tournament we in and week out ,Top seeds and players CONTINUE to have bad loses against inferior players. Never ever happened back then. Once in a while ,which is to be expected. But now , it's a Never Ending Story.

Sad to see TSITSIPAS not improving at all.. something needs to change as soon as possible... It's sad to see his talent to be wasted, we know he is not that athletic... Maybe it's time to find a new coach and actually get better ?

Tsitsipas is one of the most athletic players on the tour, especially for a tall guy.

@@Tom-sx6nn As much as I dislike Tsitsipas style, it's true. I don't know why he says he's not athletic. However, he really needs to find another coach. His progression is becoming stale. It's pretty high level, but he gotta do something if he wants to go to the next level. His serve, smash and forehand are very good. His backhand is what preventing him to be the top player he used to be imo.
