That’s not very sporting of Sasha to give a cold hand shake after an epic battle. Fils is an amazing player. Never say die attitude. Keeps grinding. Congratulations to him.
This is a personal opinion: Zverev doesn’t have respect for himself and therefore doesn’t respect other people when he should. I’m not comparing Arthur Fils with Federer, Nadal, Novak or Alcaraz but Zverev wouldn’t dare cover them with champagne after losing a final. What makes him think it’s ok to do that to Arthur Fils? Alexander Zverev is 27 years old, Carlos Alcaraz is 21 is and acts and plays like a Champion. I very well may be wrong but I don’t see a great future for Zverev. He may be No 4 in the world but he is a very long way from greatness. Look at all the greats who have gone before him.
Zverev felt humiliated by Fils in the game, in front of many german people, in his garden. Then, he needed to humiliate Fils back, and tried to mask it in a "funny party moment". But we can see... Good reaction of Fils spitting champ on floor.

You can have the best mentality on tour and buckets of confidence, but when a hugely talented, up-and-coming, young star is playing lights-out and painting the lines with every shot, you're still very much at risk of losing.
Big 3 ⁉😂Fils is your typical Black French player who will make some noise than just fold into the top 15!😂
@@quentincrisp6933 monfils and tsonga were top 6 at some point of their career. he needs one thing "regularity"
Maybe he needed a psychologist as well before beating his girlfriends ;)
@@quentincrisp6933So him being black and French entrenches him to the same fate? What does that have to do with literally anything?
Enormous match from both players, and particularly from Fils. Bravo Arthuuuuuur, we're so proud of you!!!!!!!😉 💙🤍❤
Shame on zverev for this handshake.... no other top 10 would do that..
Haha I replayed the handshake like 50 times.
Yeah I wasn't expecting that, like why ? What did Fils do to get this disrespect ?
@@noedesmons9978 underhand serve...Zverev acted like Fils beat up his girlfriend or something...
@@roter13 only zverev himself gets to beat up his girlfriend 😂
@@roter13 like Fils did what? 😂😂😂
@@roter13lmao !
Congratulations to Fils! Well deserved win
7:45 - Fils staring daggers at him. Love it!
That’s not very sporting of Sasha to give a cold hand shake after an epic battle. Fils is an amazing player. Never say die attitude. Keeps grinding. Congratulations to him.
Loosing at homegrown is really embarrassing 😂😂😂😂. Congrats to Fils! What a player 👏
Zverev doing ATP proud by introducing the Ostapenko handshake on the men's side so we don't feel left out.
Kerber may have shown him.
really fighter Fils! Very powerful seems like black panther
Cool strong level, mb it was the game of his ,,life,, and best tennis!Respect
When zverev looses he shows his real character....crybaby
AL FINAL EL NIÑO DE 20 AÑOS MIRA Y PIENSA : LLEGO UN NUEVO REY !!!
😊😊😊😊😊😊
quesque j'ai vu, c'est pas possible. Tu es trop fort !!!
I didn't get a chance to see the match but this highlight reel is ridiculously good.
I think the same here. This champagne he covered fils with sounds ... weird. Fils spited it too on the floor
Zverev felt humiliated by Fils in the game, in front of many german people, in his garden.
Then, he needed to humiliate Fils back, and tried to mask it in a "funny party moment".
But we can see... Good reaction of Fils spitting champ on floor.
Absolutely love the hustle! That’s what it takes to be elite and Fils really bled for it 👏
Zverev such a baby!
That handshake and then the end with champagne lol
Zverev really lacks class, he needs to learn to be a more gracious character if he wants to develop as a person.
That was a battle....... Respect for winner and defeated🎉🎉🎉
Fils hiting the ball was like Goggins carrying the boats ❤
Who's gonna carry the BOAATTTSS??!!!!
That made no sense...
@@malekat8539 it's a reference, that's why
This kid has some swagger in him 😂😂😂😂
Zverev just doesn't have the aggression that's required to win at this level. He plays matches like he's in practice mode. Brutal loss in his home country. Ouch!
My goodness Fils you definitely deserve the win, well done
So many great comments. I love the dialogue and numerous exchanges. So much better than TV broadcasters covering tennis
Match of the year for me, unreal. Fils and Lehecka are my two favorite up and coming stars of the ATP.
Good luck😂😂😂😂
The way zverev check the Arthur fils hand at the net on the end of the match just mean so much and this is the reason why he loose all thoses finals.
Looser mentality.
BRAVO ARTHUR MERCI POUR LA FRANCE 🇫🇷
Je suis d'accord avec toi
Blabla 😂
If he can avoid injuries, with such a physical and mature game, Fils is headed to the top 10
Zverev should chill out, considering how much of the benefit of the doubt he has been given. He did not lose the match because of that serve. That serve was called out. He was outplayed, it happens in tennis all the time.
BATTRE le champion olympique chez lui à Hambourg avant de jouer les jeux olympiques à Paris, chez soi, sur terre battue. Excellent pour le moral. Bravo Arthur!
The finale set was crazy ! But Instead of congratulating his opponent, Zverev just barely did a handshake….
So glad Arthur won this match! Great work black King!
why did the crowd boo? such an underarm serve is entertaining. why did zverev not really congratulate? whats all the fuss about? sorry for fils to have such a bad crowd and opponent.
What a match from Fils ! good mentality and combativity
Bravo Arthur ! C'est tellement bon de voir ça !!
En tout cas, terrible bagarre avec de formidables coups et une forte intensité malgré un public et un adversaire hostiles ...
De bon augure pour la suite.
So this is how confidence looks like 😅
wow fils is a beast!
Hitting big forehands from the back constantly, that's refreshing.
The best bit was when the rain hammered down at around 6:00, drowned out the grunts 😅
Fils at Hamburg Borges at Bastad and Berrettini at Gstaad. What a day for tennis fans!!! Agreed top players like Alcaraz, Djokovic, Sinner don't play in these tournaments.
Zverev is #4 and played in his hometown..
@@frenchfuc43r50
Alcaraz, Djokovic and even Sinner are a different bread compared with him, sorry to tell you that.
Oo Matteo and Nunes had a title?
What a match. Great win for Fils. A little disappointed Zverev wasn't able to collect himself and properly congratulate Fils at the net.
They had a match a few weeks ago similar to this one where Zverev won it and Arthur was a total gentleman afterwards.
The stare Arthur fils gave him… 😂😂😂😂
because he did not expect such poor handshake
🤣🤣🤣👍
