In my opinion , that Kimber is one of the most aesthetically pleasing pistols I’ve seen in some time 😍

Love my Canik METE SFT this has quickly become my favorite home defense/ range gun! For the money and what’s included it simply can’t be beat imo.

I’m very happy with my Echelon, I think that Springfield has given us the most updated polymer frame striker fired pistol yet. Optics ready slide with all the cuts and ledges, great ergonomics, really nice out of the box trigger, tritium front sight and the list goes on. Been shooting polymer striker pistols for as long as they’ve existed and I truly believe that this is one of the best. I’m sure the haters will chime in but just sharing the thoughts of a long time handgunner.
It's between The Echelon and the Canik Rival S for me. I already have 4 extra mags for my Canik. But the Echelon looks great
Spring Field did a great job on this one , a ton of great ideas . T-Rex Arms, Lucas did a 1000 rds on his range testing (Y.T.) Not one problem in 2hrs, yeah about 2hrs he ran it hard !
I really like that Kimber, but when it came time to spend the money I opted to purchase a Stealth Arms Platypus customized the way I wanted it.
I kept waiting on the Shadow 2 compact. I cannot believe it was not on there. I would choose it over most of these he picked.

Good mix of handguns on your list. My only edit would be to include the cz shadow 2 compact, dwx, ruger security 380 and the shield plus performance center. If any of those arrived before 23 my apologies.

I'm the "Odd Ball". I hate plastic guns, and I've never liked "striker fired" guns either.
So I'm really hopeful there are some ALL STEEL, HAMMER FIRED beauties on your list!😮
That doesn't sound odd to me. Striker fired with polymer frame and hammer fired with metal frame seem to be the standard combinations.
I'm all in on Sig metal guns. I shoot 100% better with the extra weight. I haven't taken an m&p or glock to the range in 3 years

You’re not an odd ball. I agree 100%. My favorite edc guns are my S&W 457 and S&W 908.
My West German Sig 226 is still one of my " will never sell/trade" pistols. Love the Hammer Fire and mag capacity. Mines is a 1988 model.
Sig P 365 XL. Optic ready, always goes bang, flat trigger, quality, Great night sights, Concealable,12 plus 1….. I know there is new models, with higher capacity. No need for a rotation battery of pistols. A couple very interesting weapons on your list, I will be checking on. Thanks 👍🏻
Only one made my list from your video and it's the M-9 . I own the old school M-9 and it's not going anywhere. I would of liked to see the Girsan tilt up barrel ✌️

Great list. I was hoping that girsan would be on there. Along with the echelon bul armory. Those are the only 3 that's attainable.for me but are great guns

Since this is a 2023 list I gotta say the FN Reflex with the internal hammer is now my warm weather carry pistol and after shooting both it’s my preference over the SIG 365. Honorable mention is the LE Walther P99.

I like the Bull Armory 2011 and the Girsan 2023 looks great. I Really like My Beretta M9A4 so smooth the grip is so grabby and very accurate and it's little bro Beretta FSR 22lr . Thanks Don you've got a Great collection ❤ PS. Still haven't got the plate for the Beretta yet. I've been thinking about the HS507C grn ACSS with the sight being so high over bore the ACSS Helps to get faster alignment when presentation is off do to so hight over bore, what do you think about that Don ? There are some great ones. I still want SW revolvers without the Hillary Hole. I'd also be interested in a MP5 in 10mm. Love the 10mm! Maybe a 10mm Lever gun?

Great video as always. I just wonder why Beretta hasn't ever made a 45 ACP OR 357 Sig IN THE 90'S FAMILY. Id definitely would buy one, but in the Beretta 92x performance setup. This needs to happen. Your thoughts??? Thanks

New from RIA (ARMSCOR) ~ Would really like for you to do a review on the RIA (ARMSCOR) AL3.1 and the AL3.0, .357 Magnum, Snub Nose, 6 Shot Revolver. Unusual for RIA, the AL3.1 and AL3.0 are manufactured in the Czech Republic and not the Philippines. I hope you will consider doing a review on these two handgun, e.g., the AL3.1 (Nickle Finish) & AL3.0. (Blued Finish). I really enjoy your reviews; they have been responsible for a lot of my gun "best" gun buys. Keep up the great work.

I wish gun companies would come out with carbines and pistols chambered for the M1 carbine. Though considered obsolete, it has a high power to weight ratio.
It's difficult to do this list with only ten, you've picked some good ones. Arguably there are a boatload of others that are worthy. It's interesting to note which manufacturers are not on the list, which by no means discounts their products, but might. Absent is Sig, understandably, I own some Sig stuff, always have served me well. Lately, their CS department makes them a nope. I love my Kimber 1911 and while there are the Kimber haters out there, I've run somewhere between 5,000 to 10,000 rounds through mine, no problems other than a grip panel screw failure sometime after the 5000 mark, rectified by Kimber at no charge. It will be interesting to see what 2024 brings.
I see a Kukri knife behind you. Who made that? Just curious cause my dad was a knife maker, and it looks very similar to one of his.

Is it just me or does the dust cover/rail on all the M&P 5.7s and 22mags look bent downward??? I noticed it on the first one I saw and now it seems as if they all look that way. I’ve never seen anyone address it.

Does the "Colt" Walther's 1911 .22LR pistol run cheap bulk .22LR ammo? Nice handgun but not in the top 10. I am price conscious on ammo.
mixup98 just made a video on it a few days ago, maybe his take will help your endeavor. The two people I know have had success with cci mini mags. Not top tier, but not the cheapest ammo. As someone with many 22s, they like what they like. The only other issue was my buddies rear sight lost the white dot inserts at the range. Testers paint fixed that. Hope this reply helps. And yes, I've shot both and they are fun to shoot.
I don’t mean to be negative, but I was all excited for the Kimber cause it looks awesome but when I went to look at it, its trigger is very crappy for a 1911. But it still looks cool.
