The jujutsu kaisen game i want is actually an immersive sim like dishonored. You are a new student in the tokyo school and you start by creating your character and choosing your innate cursed technique. You would play missions defeating from grade 4s until grade 1s by using any method you prefer, be it stealthy or just blowing everything up. You would also be able to obtain new skills that are universal or tied to your innate technique. After a while you would also be able to tackle online missions with other players and even against other players
I'd be interesting to see different modes like: Raid: a crap ton of cursed spirits swarming you Vs: either training with another sorcerer or trying to arrest one Team: practice in the art of jujutsu jumping with your friends Stealth: you need to grab a relic or save hostages that are stuck in a building, if you get found it's either a game over or the entire facility tries to kill you

The idea of the game would be for players to use their skills for their own playstyle. A vs mode would be really cool if it was something like deathloop, a swarm mode could also be interesting, team could be just you and your friend using your builds to go on a normal mission of the game

They should have made domains like student getos R2 and breakable from the outside like in the anime so ur teammate can save you (if they aint trapped in too). I thought about this for a minute, and I think JJK lends itself best to the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot style of game where its more focused on large battles against multiple targets, or one on one spectacle battles. The best reason for this is because whether you are going off of the paper bag assassins in the hidden inventory arc, the curses in either Shibuya incident, or the transfigured humans in any of the Mahito fights, there will always be a large amount of fodder enemies you can pad out levels with before doing the actual main battles. Add a leveling system, a few playable characters, and make the main battles expansive and you're golden. Imagine playing through the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc, and instead of playing as Yuji and going directly into the Todo fight, you actually participate in the event a bit by fighting lower grade curses. Then you have your todo fight, and maybe do the Megumi fight after, but when the Hanami fight begins its not just a simple fight against her, you'd need to avoid roots sprouting from under you, dodge her curse energy sapping buds and as the fight progresses the field gets elevated as she starts making large tree trunks to run on and chase her down. There's enough here in terms of basic battles, and scenes that can be expanded to make this kinda game an faithfully adapt the story.
Ngl a Jjk street fighter style game would SLAP,just imagine trying to master geto with all his curses,and his ultimate(s) would be activating the domain of a certain curse depending on the buttons you press,he’d be a character that would be really hard to master but once you master it,you get a crazy wombo combo with curses all over the place(of course there has to be a cursed energy meter so that players can get creative with the combos)

ArcSys doesn't have to be the person to always get for fighters based on other series. We currently have Eighting who actually made MvC3 working on the HunterxHunter game (and DNF Duel) so there's other fighting game companies that can get the chance other than ArcSys.

honestly the only arena fighters I've liked have been STORM 4 and Hinokami Chronicles. HC only really died because of it's abysmal online and lack of rollback netcode, I think it had great execution of a lot of the characters and their movesets, even if the balancing was way off. STORM 4 I think is just kinda hard to get into, there's 106 fighters which is honestly really daunting for new players

I just thought there was a lack of skins (ik you probably didnt cover that because it's boring and practically irrelevant) but you can have some cool and nice thinks for thought. (Spoilers) like how yuta took over gojo's body, that could be a gojo skin, or have a skin where sukuna took over megumi's body, and have these accessible with completing parts of the story
Are you seriosly fantasizing about DLC PACKS in your envisioning of the game you'd want? Mangas like JJK have such explicit and detailed mechanics with how everything is supposed to work it feels like their creators are sort of already envisioning a game. The concept for all the mechanics is already there. Whatever genre it ends up falling into (character action would be the way for me) the gameplay should be about cursed energy manipulation and mastering how the cursed technique of the character you are playing as channels it. Landing a black flash is so often described in such detail, the art of applying cursed energy within a fraction of an instant of a hit landing. How landing one puts the character in the zone and unlocks so much of their potential. How domain expansions work, from the sure hit, to how to counter it. and it's great cost, leaving the sorcerer weakened after it's use. multiplying negative energy to generate the inverse and how complicated it is. As long as these concepts are brought to life by the game's systems, it could make an AMAZING game in whatever form you can envision, be it a 2d fighter, a side scroller, an rpg, a beat em up, a character action game, and it could be an awesome arena fighter. Yuuta's technique would make him a great player character allowing you to use so many techniques.
Me personally, I would love an open world action rpg jujutsu kaisen game, kinda action rpg. Idk I think something like that would be cool; think of WoW or elden ring roughly, some kinda mix; preferably third person, but with more streamlined combat that acts kinda like jjk cursed clash's system??? of course without the thing where only certain attacks reduce the health bar; or more closely, think of elden ring's combat. also, instead of cursed clash doing that thing where it just copied the anime, give it its own original story set in the universe and give character customization (with original cursed techniques) a go. then throw on some quests, an online variant with raids and bosses and stuff (akin to WoW again), and that's my personal ideal jjk game. might just be me tho

I honestly don't think Gojo is a good addition to the game, either we don't represent the limitless accurately which is kind of annoying or we take him out. Hes on his own tier of power overall. I honestly think young Gojo would make a great addition though, give him blue and able to just turn immunte to damage while a 6 eyes meter is up and it gets interesting. Maybe give him red and teleport after using his super which makes him an annoying zoner overall and purple would be his ultimate.
I honestly see Miua being a good character in this game. Like, at least for lower tiers of play a character that has a move that attacks you if you get too close (maybe would also serve as a projectile cancel) while simultaneously being able to close the gap as it sees fit is just annoying to have to deal with in terms of mobility. Ofc hier tiers of play you most likely would learn how to dodge or parry her attacks but in lower tiers? Annoying to deal with.

let me cook rq... Imagine a JJK game that's more like an open world GTA-like game where you can either work as a sorcerer, or a sorcerer assassin like Toji. You'd have different missions depending on what job you chose and you could use any cursed technique in the game available to accomlpish those missions. You could also choose to be Heavenly Restricted, or what cursed weapons would fit to your style, etc. It could also have some sort of "story mode", having NPCs like Yuji or Gojo, which you'd be able to talk to and accompany to places like Shibuya, Shinjuku or Jujutsu High, letting you unlock those parts of the map. The game could also have bosses, be them summonable like Mahoraga, or just spawning bosses that you could brawl with. You could open servers and play with people in real time, brawl and fight. You could also have different gamemodes for those who want a more "centered" experience like a Battle Royale mode (reminiscing of the Culling Games), a 1v1 mode, etc. The idea is just really good to pass up, and believe me, if done right, that game could go really hard. Just look at the GTA SA JJK mods or the Roblox JJK Games to imagine the potential an open world sandbox game of Jujutsu Kaisen could have.
0:37 I get what you mean, but it’s VERY different from most arena fighters. It seems to take a lot of inspiration of the Final Fantasy Dissidia series. It’s an interesting system completely butchered by clunky EVERYTHING in the actual game.
Divergent fist would actually be a very good newbie attack as doing 2 hits would allow to stun a lot of characters in lower tiers of play even if less damage. Kinda accurate to the show too since its a tool that you need to use on the right moment instead of spamming it.

The fact that Cursed Clash got severely beaten by a random Roblox game made by a few people is crazy.

honestly the only arena fighters I've liked have been STORM 4 and Hinokami Chronicles.
HC only really died because of it's abysmal online and lack of rollback netcode, I think it had great execution of a lot of the characters and their movesets, even if the balancing was way off.
STORM 4 I think is just kinda hard to get into, there's 106 fighters which is honestly really daunting for new players
Nah they GOTTA have Mechamaru using the normal puppet, and have absolute Mechamaru as the super move

I just thought there was a lack of skins (ik you probably didnt cover that because it's boring and practically irrelevant) but you can have some cool and nice thinks for thought. (Spoilers) like how yuta took over gojo's body, that could be a gojo skin, or have a skin where sukuna took over megumi's body, and have these accessible with completing parts of the story

Mangas like JJK have such explicit and detailed mechanics with how everything is supposed to work it feels like their creators are sort of already envisioning a game. The concept for all the mechanics is already there.
Whatever genre it ends up falling into (character action would be the way for me) the gameplay should be about cursed energy manipulation and mastering how the cursed technique of the character you are playing as channels it.
Landing a black flash is so often described in such detail, the art of applying cursed energy within a fraction of an instant of a hit landing. How landing one puts the character in the zone and unlocks so much of their potential.
How domain expansions work, from the sure hit, to how to counter it. and it's great cost, leaving the sorcerer weakened after it's use.
multiplying negative energy to generate the inverse and how complicated it is.
As long as these concepts are brought to life by the game's systems, it could make an AMAZING game in whatever form you can envision, be it a 2d fighter, a side scroller, an rpg, a beat em up, a character action game, and it could be an awesome arena fighter.
Yuuta's technique would make him a great player character allowing you to use so many techniques.

Me personally, I would love an open world action rpg jujutsu kaisen game, kinda action rpg. Idk I think something like that would be cool; think of WoW or elden ring roughly, some kinda mix; preferably third person, but with more streamlined combat that acts kinda like jjk cursed clash's system??? of course without the thing where only certain attacks reduce the health bar; or more closely, think of elden ring's combat. also, instead of cursed clash doing that thing where it just copied the anime, give it its own original story set in the universe and give character customization (with original cursed techniques) a go. then throw on some quests, an online variant with raids and bosses and stuff (akin to WoW again), and that's my personal ideal jjk game. might just be me tho

I honestly don't think Gojo is a good addition to the game, either we don't represent the limitless accurately which is kind of annoying or we take him out. Hes on his own tier of power overall.
I honestly think young Gojo would make a great addition though, give him blue and able to just turn immunte to damage while a 6 eyes meter is up and it gets interesting.
Maybe give him red and teleport after using his super which makes him an annoying zoner overall and purple would be his ultimate.
I honestly see Miua being a good character in this game.
Like, at least for lower tiers of play a character that has a move that attacks you if you get too close (maybe would also serve as a projectile cancel) while simultaneously being able to close the gap as it sees fit is just annoying to have to deal with in terms of mobility.
Ofc hier tiers of play you most likely would learn how to dodge or parry her attacks but in lower tiers? Annoying to deal with.
Jjk scale is too big to be limited to a 2d fighter game. With domain expansions and collateral damage its best its on 3d. Dragonball z always works better when jts 3d

Imagine a JJK game that's more like an open world GTA-like game where you can either work as a sorcerer, or a sorcerer assassin like Toji. You'd have different missions depending on what job you chose and you could use any cursed technique in the game available to accomlpish those missions. You could also choose to be Heavenly Restricted, or what cursed weapons would fit to your style, etc.
It could also have some sort of "story mode", having NPCs like Yuji or Gojo, which you'd be able to talk to and accompany to places like Shibuya, Shinjuku or Jujutsu High, letting you unlock those parts of the map.
The game could also have bosses, be them summonable like Mahoraga, or just spawning bosses that you could brawl with.
You could open servers and play with people in real time, brawl and fight. You could also have different gamemodes for those who want a more "centered" experience like a Battle Royale mode (reminiscing of the Culling Games), a 1v1 mode, etc.
The idea is just really good to pass up, and believe me, if done right, that game could go really hard.
Just look at the GTA SA JJK mods or the Roblox JJK Games to imagine the potential an open world sandbox game of Jujutsu Kaisen could have.
0:37 I get what you mean, but it’s VERY different from most arena fighters. It seems to take a lot of inspiration of the Final Fantasy Dissidia series. It’s an interesting system completely butchered by clunky EVERYTHING in the actual game.

Divergent fist would actually be a very good newbie attack as doing 2 hits would allow to stun a lot of characters in lower tiers of play even if less damage. Kinda accurate to the show too since its a tool that you need to use on the right moment instead of spamming it.
