Persistence pays off. By the end, it sounds better than a Wuhan china of the same size. Lathing the outer half to taper it might increase the sustain, but it's good enough to use as an effects cymbal as is. Nice work!
I love what you are doing, it's exactly what i would do if i had the space, i made cymbals like these too, and i love the process, i higly advice you to buy some at least b8 bronze sheet and experiment with that, as you can really make a piece of shit brass sound pretty impressive. Great work my dude
Looks nice, sounds trashcan. Think you would do better to use a cast blank made from the correct material. Cymbals are a fine instrument and there is a whole art to them. No two are quite the same. Handmade jazz cymbals can be worth a lot of money for a reason.
Jep, suosittelen lämpimästi, heh! Tahtoo tuolla verstaalla olla tosiaan näin talviaikaan hiukan liian kohmeiset olot. Sekin riittäisi jos ei vallan hengitys höyryäisi.
I love this! good stuff man!

muito legal , quero ver mais videos como esse para aprender melhor
Muito obrigado! I will see about making more now that the weather in Finland is starting to warm up a bit.
