I just read on the Harley Design website that the complete Rockabilly build-along package will be available at a later date. THAT IS AWESOME! THANK YOU!
I want to follow along from a distance Josh as I don’t want to build another persons design. I also don’t think I can trust myself not to post unnecessary comments , that might be seen as negative comments? I have my own cage builds on the go at present although I am brazing not tig welding. I completely agree building a cage chassis is a fulfilling part of the hobby. Good luck to everyone, stay safe .
Looking forward to this build a long. Besides learning new skills, the interaction on the Discord and then getting to meet the other builders is the best parts of a build along in my opinion. having a super cool well thought out rig in the end. It’s just icing on the cake.
Damn it, I still haven't finished my Jimmys Buggy lol!! Since I already have a VRD builders kit just sitting here though, might have to put the Jimmy Buggy on hold for a couple weeks🤷♂
I really really want to do a buildalong. They are fantastic ideas. Hopefully this isn't your last right now I just don't have the money to pull this off at the moment
Had a blast building my Jimmy's buggy! I won't be joining this one as I am still finishing Jimmy. Electronics and such add up fast, lol. But the cage part is a blast and worth learning!
Still gathering equipment and parts for the Jimmy for this winters build, so here's hoping that this too will be released later. Looks like this could be an easier build for a first time builder?
The build along has a limited number of spots while I build the first one. Once it’s all done and every file is finished, I put the package up for download for anyone who wants to do it.
I'd love to, but i'm already building two cars for a upcoming 6h race. Did i miss it, will the files and parts be available after the build along is finished? I have the Jimmy's parts coming from Brazin'.
So there is a key word "MAY" be available separately in the future. I am not ready for this build yet but wouldn't mind guaranteeing a spot for future use. I also don't want to take the place of someone who would actually want to do a "build along" Does that mean I should just buy a spot to guarantee me a future chance to build one and have access to whatever is needed?
That’s a bit of CYA on my part. It all depends and I don’t want to say 100% before I know it will be. I sure hope it all works out as planned but we never know.
Because cages buggies are cooler than any lexan body on a base chassis, they’re more scale accurate, and styled after some of the most capable fullsize vehicles out there.
This project should not be missed. It's also very helpful to have someone make the cage for you. ;)
I need this.
I really want to participate but I do not have a 3D printer or a welder. Will this series be available after the build along?
😂❤
I'll weld the cage matt if he gets me the 3d prints lol.jj.

That flannel is kickass and i like the hat color 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🍻🤘
I'm going to follow even though I missed out on buying the build along kit.
Looking forward to purchase this download kit once available

That shirt is gangster
Waiting Impatiently
If I had more time at home I would definitely be all in
I can’t wait!! My Jimmys buggy is one of my favorite things I’ve ever built
Ill be following this build. I dont have a 3d printer but eventually ill get one and be able to do one in the future.

Got my alarm set!
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! You did a great job explaining what you need and type of skills that you need to build! Awesome Awesome!
I am so happy to not have to buy all the tools again but a welder upgrade maybe in my future ! excited to do build along #3 ! Let’s go!
Josh always looking forward to the challenge of a good 'ol short, borderline impossible, deadline! Looking forward to the build!

I love the G Diddy shirt 😂😂😂
So Excited. Going to try and join this. Just might be alittle slower building than others with my time being very busy.

I definitely think the build along could accommodate more people than you’ve had in the past 2.
Once again, I'm quite excited for this. I missed out on the Jimmy buggy, but in hindsight, I think that was probably a good thing.
I've been waiting for this announcement!
I missed out on the Jimmys build and have been wanting to fabricate, hoping to get in on this one!
Nice! You’re wearing the shirt I got you last year! 😊
That’s right! 👖
I still need a welder, just got the 3d printer, and i want one of those flannels.
Will these ever be sold separately away from the build along? I would love to build one but I just don't have the time right now.
Is that a ymh tee shirt? Lol

I think this will be easier, I learn a little from each one.
Would brazing work on a chassis of this nature?
Hey Josh, is there a reason you can't purchase the package anymore on your website? I was going to have a friend build one too.
The build along has a limited number of spots while I build the first one. Once it’s all done and every file is finished, I put the package up for download for anyone who wants to do it.
When i buy tubing for a project like this, what length should the tubes be?
I buy 3’ lengths personally.
I'd love to, but i'm already building two cars for a upcoming 6h race.
Did i miss it, will the files and parts be available after the build along is finished?
I have the Jimmy's parts coming from Brazin'.
I hope to make them available later but I’m not promising anything just yet.
I would love to be part of the build but have to wait till after the holidays. Would the project be available then?
I do hope to release it after the fact but I won’t know for sure until after I’m done.
How long till this is available for purchase? Thanks
My guess is 2-3 months.

Is it tomorrow yet?! 😂
Look, just tell me where to get the flannel, and no one gets hurt.
That project seems like "Groundhog Day" 🙄 Building a cage chassis ? Again? Why?🤔

Discord pro tip… do not go into a chat you are not 100% sure you want to go into… it is the most toxic place on earth …
