Can't get rid of the junction. I split my head and body, now I see the line in different places if I switch off all the maps the tone of meshes is different. what is the source?
the only problem I got on this method is when fixing a material with heightmap in it, i.e. using the default Iron Raw Damaged was kinda annoying that I have to give up on using height map. but other than that it's still a useful method
I was hoping for something more automatic but I guess it can't be helped. Thank you this tutorial. This the best way I've seen yet.

How can I hide the joint between ur head and body? the problem is my generators draw different patterns in the seam..
