The best video I found on this subject <3
Eres una verga. That's how we say it in Mexico. Freaking amazing!
EXCELLENT analysis. Very well thought out and very well described. Thank you. I learned a lot....!!!
Yep even the edgeloops awesome videos
Well just left a comment on another video of you where Im trying to find this exact same workflow on blender. Thanks for your content pretty awesome, I want to see how 4.3 treats you. I think I will love your next 4.3 vids
Thanks for the vid and I think every single artist has come along the "ok, now is acting up" issue, and this is pretty awesome I'm looking on using my old zbrush polygroup, split, remesh and polish workflow for hardsurface, now I just need some polyloops. I think im missing something else but Im very close thanks for your videos
couldn't find your stroke texture. . . .
Excellent thank you
Oh boy... the RUclips quiz on this video is sooooo wrong and confusing. It tells you that you have wrong answers when they're not. It reversed/confused N-gons and E-gons and said that there is such a thing as "in-gons". VERY confusing quiz, once you watch the video and believe you have a grasp on the info. I reported the answers, but, have no idea how long it will take for RUclips to review/fix them. Just a warning for anyone trying to test yourself after watching this glorious video.
"Vapors may cause fire, floods, eye irritation, and more in California" 😂
I am now a changed man! Thanks for all your hard work and quality output. I frequently recommend you as the top most knowledgable and balanced blender RUclipsr I know of 😊
I'm a bit confused, what is the downside of using 100% density all of the time?
Make timestamps mate...
I know this is unrelated but give the Quran a read, also use affinity photo its much better
Top quality content
Hey man, just found your channel, so much helpful information, your explanation is very clear. Thank you so much, keep doing it. Hope messages like this will motivate you even more🫶
I never knew, and now I know.
Hello! I like your videos and I congratulate you because you contribute greatly to the community! I would like to suggest you to activate that when you press a key it is shown on the screen so that those who do not know much can see what key you press
Thank you! It's baffled me as to the reasoning behind the view change when isolating or localizing the view and that there was no way to change the behavior. Or so I thought.
I hope Blender will add SDF modeling soon.
You just changed my life. This was so annoying, especially when rigging
This one I use and love, the one I have a problem with is using 1,3, 7 or ctrl 1, 3, 7 on num pad to change into view modes. As soon as I click the middle mouse it jump there too. I haven't found a way have that one transition smoothly from front/side/top/bottom Orthographic back into standard without the major jump.
Great info!! 2 years into Blender and I did not know this, thank you!
Just perfect - a huge time saver! My understanding of the Quad Remesher addon has improved after learning from you. It was frustrating at first, but now it's all clear. Thank you for sharing!
WOW! This is such an amazing trick. Thank you so much for sharing this video!
Great vid
Thanks!
👍
thanks
Interesting, thank you
I recommed enabling Focus with machin3tools instead. It has multi-level isolation and is bound to ctrl + F by default
You have been cranking out the videos lately. All of them have been very good. Thank you. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say, I will watch and absorb everything you make. As quickly as you want to make them.
Definitely one of the downsides of Krita's brush engine, I spent so much time trying to make a custom soft brush that'll behave properly but it's just impossible currently. Still workable but takes extra effort. Btw, your transform/move was more performant in Photoshop because you can't copy paste the group as is from Krita to Photoshop, you actually copy it as a single layer. But yeah Krita's transform/move tool is sluggish by nature.
I had noticed that after.... but if I had a similar group in PS it would still draw with no lag.
@@pzthree Yes that is true, I believe PS uses hardware acceleration for transforms amongst many things. While Krita currently uses it only for canvas rendering. Krita's Hardware accelerated transforms is on the possible development list for after ver 6.0 but who knows how long that'll take.
with sdf and nanite, we dont need to care about topo anymore
and with Mega Lights we don't need to care about how many lights we put in a UE5 scene anymore.
have you tried rakuris brushes for krita m.ruclips.net/video/9kOUP4uOOx0/видео.html
I just purchased Rebelle 7 when it was heavily discounted and am not looking back.
that's cool! Maybe SDF modeling will get more attention in the future and we will live in a smooth corner world
Wait you do boolean operations and the software comes up with a clean topology? that's like me dreaming doing it in Blender! i hope the devs notice this tech and bring it to blender or ill have to do my modeling in this software
Sdf & Voxel mesh. It can export quad mesh but not perfect topo.
@@pzthree I need to try it, thank you for your work!
@barittos5585 no worries, blender devs have atleast thought about SDF modeling tools. It was asked about in a community survey.
@@pzthree are you saying the SDF isnt as perfect as an STL?
Not really, A SDF model can always up res. You can't measure things that easily.
Unlike other videos only useful and precious explanations. Thanks for making it😅
Which theme are u using in blender 😅😅
your channel is very good. Would you make a tutorial on a weapon so we can see your workflow, I think it would help a lot in practice!
Really enjoyed this game back in the day - mostly for how convincingly it sold its remote, claustrophobic, high-tech environment. The environmental storytelling was quite amazing. Great looking graphics (for its era) combined with a scattering of PDAs for you to look through really made it click for me, somehow. Yes, the shooting was quite a bit off. It didn't live up to the faster gameplay of its predecessors, but it has its own strengths. If you're looking to replay this game in search for some inspiration or to... just have some fun, I strongly recommend trying the Redux mod instead of the BFG edition - which didn't actually improve things graphically that much. Redux does a much better job with textures and lighting, while still running on the same engine.
I really love your videos.. can you please share your theme?
It's on gumroad.
@@pzthree Its really good.. thank you for sharing.
Saved my sanity mate! You rock
A huge thanks! Gone from choppy 6fps on my 4k monitor to 24fps.
I'm confused, I still don't get the point of the "midpoly" if you're just creating a high-poly model and baking that onto the low-poly?
It's about having a better base to work in both directions. Another way is staying non destructive you can model one and work it out in both directions too.
Amazing
What is that, that you're using is does not look like photoshop?????? LOve your tutorial
New Sub. Amazing content. You are an underrated pro
Normals are totally free from the geometry, and it doesn’t matter if there’s triangles underneath. But it helps to understand the math. There are many tools to modify the normals, how they are calculated. For a perfect hole in 10s there is also a Blender secret video worth checking out.
Normals are automatically created based on the geometry. That doesn't mean you can't use custom normals that are not set by the geo. I can not overstate this enough. The mesh is triangulated, and triangulation will effect the interpolation of the shading. This becomes extremely apparent in normal map bakes with mipmaps.
