The original power couple.😊😊 This pairing was perfect. Seven's portrayal is awesome. Better yet, the writers showed great character development and kept her on the mature side then secure, her confidence never waivering regarding his love for her. Really tops the list of one of my favourites. Enough cannot be said about Wallace Chung's portrayal of the Marquis. He waited for Shiyi and supported her on her journey to finding him. Ugh! I just love this drama. Really A+
After watching all the episodes and coming to the end (I know in Malaysia we watched it much later and China has ended in Feb 2021??), I really miss it now.
They avoided the whole Zhun conflict inheriting his father's title by making Shiyi have a daughter. I think it would have been more interesting to make Shiyi have a son and show how she treats them both and still have Zhun inherit the title.
I think it's fitting for ShiYi to have a daughter rather than a son. Yuanniang and Concubine Wen struggled for their sons to inherit his assets because their marriages were mainly means for their families to attain wealth and status, but ShiYi, the only woman who wasn't seeking his status or power, gave birth to a child who can't inherit a title from her father.
I think in ten years she should have had at least three children. Given how much they love each other and the time period, I am surprised that there was only a single daughter.
The great moments of this drama were far and very few in between! The fast forward button became my BFF with this one. All of the actors were great, but you can only excel if the material is good. With a stellar cast as this, I had high hopes, but in the end, it was disappointing on a massive scale!
My Aunts, Uncles, and grandparents: "Why don't you have a boyfriend yet?" My Cousins: "I'm pregnant and getting married already and I'm younger than you!!!" My Dad: "Your brother can't have blood related kids! I want grandchildren" My mom: ......................... Me:"but.....I...don't like kids that are annoying and I don't want a guy overbearing like everyone who lives here..." (I live in a small place that's kinda hard to move out of because it's SO MUCH more expensive to live anywhere else so you can imagine everyone knows everyone) Chinese and Korean Dramas: "HEYYYYY!!! OOOOVVVEEEERRRR HEEERRRRRREEEEE!!!!!! WE HAVE THE BEST MEN AND CHILDREN IN THE WORLD! SORRY! YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM BUT YOU CAN DREAM!" Me: *rethinking my existence in this world* 😶😶😶😶😶 "I mean.....I'd love to own my own business, car, house, have an amazing and loyal husband and children to raise right...but........don't think that'll happen..... 🤢HeEeEeEeRrRrRrEeEeEe.......
I didn’t watch the complete show, on how it appears is my feed. So basically I’m still 😐 confused.. Didn’t like how it ended could have been better. And the part where he played that awful musical instrument I definitely fast forward that scene. I never liked the sounds that it makes … Makes my body cringe!

It's so fitting she had a daughter. The show was so focused on the lives of women and the various fates they went through.
這電視劇很多細節都照顧到，開頭侯爺與兒子淳哥不親近，經繼室十一娘點化，開始懂得如何和小孩相處，末了和十一娘生了個女兒嗣暖，侯爺和小女兒講話是蹲下到佢嘅高度，一方面固然反映女兒受寵愛，掉轉面何嘗不是側描一個快樂的丈夫。
回頭看，亡妻元娘真係送了最好嘅禮物俾佢，係佢答應妻子娶十一娘時，肯定没有想到會有這結局。
我喜歡錦心似玉，因為佢好正面，劇中那條愛情線甜蜜好笑，夫婦二人婚後歷事，漸漸互生情愫，眉來眼去，相知相愛，温暖人心。

此劇結尾我看了好感動喔！誰說女子無才便是德，若不是侯爺的疼愛包容支持，和羅 11娘的堅持自身抱負，讓11娘既能伸展長才，又能幫助災民習得一技之長，賴 以為生，算是和徐令宜的上奏皇上致力於開通海禁，顧及黎民百姓生計，是相輔相成，一樣讓人敬佩。此劇雖是改編，但是所帶出來的教育意義，却是發人深省！

看第一遍只覺怪怪的，第二遍才發現這部戲裡，哇哥最敗筆的就是這段，硬貼上山羊鬍子，在哇哥年輕的臉上很突兀呀！五爺看起來反而更像哥哥！十一娘最後面受封誥命夫人時，侯爺又變年輕了……鬍子呢？到最後面，十一娘還是要懟侯爺：侯爺你這話錯了！只是侯爺不知道是被懟習慣了還是十一娘的話中聽，居然也沒說：伶牙俐齒不可理喻……哈哈哈哈！
聽說後面封一品誥命夫人的是前面的劇情，就是時間線不一樣（不會形容
