I’d rate this the best / highest-level match RT (or before it, ET) has put together. Two phenomenal players, and all the more remarkable for the easy, fun, and respectful rapport these two guys developed for each other other the course of the match. The on-court banter was refreshing: I can’t think of another player to have been on RT who has been as quick with kind, polite, respectful nods to his opponent as was Drew - and Will met him in kind. The corner reflections on the changeovers were fantastic, too. Will is one of the most thoughtful and eloquent players to have appeared on RT and Drew’s positive “self-talk” was really on-point - something to learn from. I would love to see them play again - and to see them take on others in the “RT universe.” Thank you to Mark, Scott, James and “The Editor” for putting this together - and to Will and Drew for putting themselves out there. I stayed up late tonight to catch this instead of watching Montreal. It was simply a delight.
Both guys excellent players, both very likeable, was a great fun to watch this battle that might have gone both ways. Kudos to Will for his words during and also after the match...not everyone can take a loss this way, he played great tennis but Drew was a tad better today. Also...both guys have very high tennis IQ. And great moments when Will was guessing Drew´s serve 😀
Best match yet. I’m a 58 year old man and I wish I had the on court maturity/attitude of Drew. The guy is a true class act. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Will is also a force on the court and always entertaining.
It was interesting to see Will losing the positional battle as the match went on- Drew pushed him back and was able to dictate from the middle, especially noticeable here in the 3rd set. Drew vs an in-form Joey Drywall would be a fun match.
Best match ever on the channel. Both guys had great self talk and the banter was fun to listen to. I feel like they should be bffs. Bring them back to play sum dubs together.
I really like Drew's inner dialogue. Not over the top angry like Will, but calm, measured and encouraging. I like that he says to expect the best shot from your opponent-that's when you play your best! And he's casual and friendly on changeovers, both of them are, actually... Excellent match from both!!
Editing magic of the RT team. Totally forgot that I watched this jem of a match live and completely forgot the outcome. Well done guys. Incredible. Andrew and Will are both superb guys and a joy to watch their tennis on top of that. Andrew is just a fantastic guy with such a developed and kind soul. Class act. Of course no less of the thank yous go to ma bros, Scott and Mark for always doing an amazing job with their on point comments, delivering extra toppings on the content that many big TV commentators can learn from. So much respect for the RT family and an honor to be a member. M
This match highlighted something for me that I really get annoyed with as a tennis player that isn’t “thin” or what people apparently consider to be in shape. Drew has the slightest belly and Will goes on and on about how the longer the match goes on the better for him as he’s in better shape & so on…and look who is absolutely exhausted by the end and look who still had energy. Look who won the set 6-2. Anyways, loved Drew’s attitude especially when he pointed out in the end of the second set how happy he was that Will was showing up in the big moments. Dude was just happy to be there. Loved it.
I would say people who are overweight are the biggest complainers about their weight. Having said that, it is easy to get out of shape at any weight for singles , it is a physically demanding game and we all feel rough at times.
GREAT tennis!!! And two very classy and talented guys.

Fun to watch! I LOVED the self comments from both players. Will definitely use this as a coaching tool for my high school players!

Love the side and corner camera angle replays. Really shows the pace and action of the balls being struck. Amazing match!
Great match. Gotta love it when two guys give it their all but still are respectful.

Amazing tennis.
Great insight on top level players. Wow!

Best match yet on RT!
Want to see Mike Trice make a comeback!
i dont
We all do
The Wall!!!!
This is the best tennis anyone's ever played with a pot belly
Its amazing that Will can predict where he will hit the ball before he hits it!
The audacity of Will to ask help from the tennis gods after betraying them to play Pickleball! Heresy!
Drew is a killer! Would not want to be on the other side of the net from him
I like how the banter is so opposite of the game's sustained intensity. Great game from both guys! I wonder what a rematch would look like...

fantastic
Yo !
Did Drew just quote Michigans Larry Balis??
I want to play those two before I die
I don’t know if someone asked this already, but did Drew just bring a coffee to the court? No water?
Will, I bet money on you!!!! 🤬🤬🤬
Just kidding!
Nice video! is it me or was 5:45 out?
On my screen it looks out too, until I slow it down to .25 speed with 4k. It's just at the corner.
“Cross line cross line” all mid court shots lol
