Happy to see a return to Imola this year, especially in light of the flooding last year, I'm glad that the track is living on. And bravo, Lando! He may have gotten a little lucky, but luck will only get you so far, you have to have the skills to bring it home. As far as predictions, I'm afraid if I publicly declare them, I'll jinx it, but I like what you've got. :)

F1 should have a segment each week where you do a talk while driving the track. I don't watch each race but the information you drop about what's currently happening during the season is dope. Great vid.
@@SarahNocchi I was 20 back then, so still young enough to feel the strong emotion of the moment, but "old enough" to be able to keep clear memories of that. I've always been a Ferrari fan, so I wasn't really happy on that day, but, with a more mature approach, probably given by the older age, I can just say that it has been something really hard to describe. One thing that still resonates in my memory is the sound of the engines of both the Renault and the Ferrari, as Nando and Schumi were shifting down so aggressively, before that last chicane. Brutal! P.S.: the year after I was at the Tosa hairpin and my "fan side" got his "revenge", with Schumacher's victory 😄

i don't know if it's a coincidence that we don't saw the suspension hitting senna live, because on tv commentators were convainced that nothing else than the impact on the wall injured senna, and it was very close to be seen on camera. but when there is that "face move" on tv, it's because suspension just hitted him maybe 1 frame before! indeed, it was at the very end of the accident, not when senna hitted the wall, but when the car were almost stopped, and wheel kept boucing on track. no spectators were injured, because there is a river at this place. so there were only few marshalls. not sure if it's bad luck, because even at 166 kmh, the trial concluded that the consequence would be the same. and senna get 3 debris, each causing fatal injuries, not one. not only the suspension hitted him, but also the tyre attached to it. we can see on tv, it's eruption of blood at the moment of impact, but it was mixed with dust and sand, plus definition of the pictures was low. this was just a carnage, cause at this era cars were desintegrated in million little carbon missiles. there were no fatal incident for decades, 1994's f1 cars started to be as dangerous as they were in 70s. this is also why nowadays cars don't goes faster than 350 km/h. the futuristic f zero game where cars who reach 950 km/h will never be a reality.

james vowles said that logan won't be replaced and asked theses rumours to stop, and that's respectful from james because logan gave his car to alex. this is why i'm an huge fan of williams, they're loyal to theyr team members. no matter how many millions toto was ready to give to train his driver, and no matter how friends are toto and james.
So, interesting fact about that infamous weekend back in 94' . In Italy, by law, if a driver is declared dead on track, they need to stop not only the race, but the whole event / weekend. Like you mentioned, Roland Ratzenberger had suffered fatal wounds at the impact, but due to politics, mainly imposed by Jean-Marie Balestre ("My decision is best decision" - if you know you know!) he didn't allowed this to happen, so they had to take Roland to the hospital and almost sort of kind of taint with his time of death. I'm not pulling this facts out of my but! XD Because this May 1st was the 30th without Senna, there was a lot of content going around and for those who speak Portuguese like myself, can actually hear the whole story on a podcast with the actual nurse that did both Roland and Senna's autopsy. Coincidently she was a girlfriend of a Brazilian Journalist at the time.
@6:55 the 3d reconstitution is not completely accurate. the car ran over the front wheels and couldn't turned anymore. bad luck for roland and ayrton this week end.
My tip for this Race again being the McLaren fan I'm going to tip Norris again he had a brilliant race at Miami , I love the Imola track and I remember that 94 race we lost two great Race drivers that weekend also Senna will always be with us .
I love Imola. The sequence from Piratella to Aqua Minerale is just plain b@lls to the wall old school racing. Maybe the track is getting a little narrow for today's F1 but other than that is awesome. Unfortunate what happened in 94. No words to describe it. I think this is Leclercs best chance to get a win. I definetly think Neweys old news has affected RedBull. And unfortunately as it might seem I think something is going on with Mercedes powertrains.
that might sounds idiot to you, but i would like to move in a city where formula 1 is and imola is one of the most beautiful city who hosts formula 1 to me, with melbourne and miami, maybe monaco, abu dhabi, and barcelona. i don't see many other interesting destination than theses 5 or 6 ones. especially the tamburello corner, plenty of emotion, hosting the wonderful aqua minerale park.
For this weekend’s race, I would have to put Max at first, Lando in Second, and Sergio in 3rd. It is gonna be a tight race, but I would love for Sergio to get the win! I am sick of Max lol
The F1 world misses Senna and sometimes I think about how different F1 would be today if the '94 Imola race was cancelled after Ratzenberger's tragic death on Saturday.
Sargeant was rushed into Formula 1, in my opinion. He's got talent, but I think he needed another year of development in one of the lower formulas, or even another series like DTM or Indycar, before making the switch. Speaking as an American, it's a shame, I'd love to see more American drivers and teams in F1, but that's the way it goes. Prediction: Normal service resumes. 1) Verstappen 2) Leclerc 3) Perez
