Just thought to myself "What are Lordi up to? They're overdue for a new album." So I looked them up and tadaa 37 Minutes a go they release a new song. Must've been my metal senses.
They’re also releasing seven new albums together in November.

Longtime fan here. The entire box set is an absolute killer (y'all pulled off something I thought was impossible... seven solid albums in the span of a year).
This was the first surprise Lordi pulled on me: legit thrash metal. I would've been perfectly content with bangers like "Would You Love a Monsterman", but this? *[chef's kiss]*
And as a metalhead since 89, the faux *Headbanger's Ball* logo in the corner gave me warm fuzzy feelings
The scope of music coming out on this album box set is truly impressive - Love and respect your attitude and work ethic!
When you think about it, releasing seven records at once is more than any fan could ever ask for.
Think about how long it might take from your favourite band to release a whole new album. You might have waited for years and the joy when it's finally here.
But even if it's very good, there might be a small feeling inside you: So this is all for now. And don't know how long for the next one.
Although Lordi is always consistent with releasing new record every two years, the point still remains.
Ofcourse it's a good sign when band leaves you to wanting moore. Still the yarning and the wait for new is frustrating from fans perspective.
And now Lordi is releasing SEVEN albums at once! (They would have been ready to make ten, but record label said it's too much).
Seven albums of new music at once. It's more than any fans wildest dreams. More than anyone could ever ask for.
I would be ok if they would took a long break after this. They earn it and I think we would be satisfied for a long period of time after seven albums.
I find it hard to find the right words to express these feelings of exitement and respect I have for this project.

Very well summed up. Iron Maiden for example took 6 years to release their latest album. Well, technically it took 4 to make the album, but they had to delay the release for a couple more. It's a long time to wait for a new album, and considering that none of us is getting younger, including the band, there's that haunting feeling that maybe their latest release is all we'll ever get. But you can always count on Lordi to bring new music in a constant phase.
Even though they have more than deserved their break, I don't think that's going to happen. The whole Lordiversity-concept is proof that Mr. Lordi can't stop creating. Covid takes away their tours, he goes on and spends the extra time not on himself, but to write seven albums worth material, and plenty more that had to be left out. After hearing about their plans, many feared that the songs would feel rushed, but so far I don't hear any signs of that. The quality has been very much what we'd expect from them. It's highly doubtful that they would run out of steam or feel the need to break the phase they've been keeping up since Get Heavy. On top of that, next year marks 30th anniversary for the band, and 20th anniversary for their debut album, so I have no doubt they already have something special planned for the occasion.
@@ZealSeraph the release of Lordiversity in 2021 is actually little odd imo, considering that the 30th and 20th anniversaries are up just next year.
What I mean is that what could be more incredible way to grace the occasion than releasing seven albums at once on year of celebration? What could top that?
I've heard that Mr.Lordi will release his memoirs next year (in Finnish most likely, sorry for everyone else. You probably have to wait). That is exiting news as a fan, but again, is it big enough to celebrate the occasion?
@@samuellaakso7012 Highly doubtful the memoirs are the biggest thing next year. My guess is that they release something from their vaults in form of Scarchives vol 2.
