This is in no means a dig at Killection or the Lordiversity albums but.... Boy I am happy to hear some good old classic Lordi sounds. Kone is definitely shining bright here too. Really looking forward to this album.
Was reading the comments while listening to the song for the first time. 'Solo solo solo' they said. Then the solo came. I saw why.
Man listened to this 2 nights ago at Glasgow live, Lordi fucking killed it opening for Sabaton.
I was there at Leeds they got hit by opening night gremlins big time but they were absolutely brilliant regardless, true professionals!

Everything I'm hearing from this album shows me that Lordi have definitely returned with a vengeance! Kone is an excellent player, agreed, and the rest of the band members make their presence known just as well as he does. I'm glad they've kept it going this long and are still able to buckle down and deliver the rock n' roll as only they can!

@@VulgrimOfficial I love Killection and the Lordiversity-albums, but I got to admit, it feels refreshing to hear something more modern again. I'm curious to see if the fictional timeline-thing had any effect on what kind of material they'll be writing going forward.

@@ludocrious7898 You can't deny Lordiversity was full of sexual innuendos. Maximum-O-Lovin, Carnivore, Phantom Lady, Blow My Fuse, Macho Freak, Gonna Do It, Zombimbo, Grrr!, Nasty, Wild and Naughty, Be My Maniac, Like a Bee. Sexorcism was probably the peak of the whole "sex songs" vibe though.

i've been lordi fan since get heavy..... but this sounds so familiar to their other songs from past 3 albums or so. :/ Repeating themselves...

Song is great! But I can't help but see a problem here.
Kone will be a tough act to replace if you ever had to. And not for the right reasons. The solo here seems quickly dweedly and doing that while in a chunky suit on stage with accuracy I'm assuming won't be that easy even if Kone manages it will the next person? I think that's where Ames nailed it he never REALLY did dweedly solos they were always simple but catchy and memorable and easier to replicate live in a costume. And his was less chunky than kones. Hoping I'm wrong but great song nonetheless
Have you heard him live? I don't think there will be any problem. And if they ever change, they'll just have to find an equally awesome guitarist, or they must play in their own style. Don't think there is a big shortage of good guitarists in Finland though.
@Valkea Kirahvi I haven't seen Jim live, and yes there are a TONNE of great guitarists but how many of these guitarists can play whilst in chunky costumes with stage lights (which are warm without costumes) beaming down on them and if they have the ability to are they willing? I ain't saying its bad just saying if kone ever left they have narrowed down the requirements for their next guitarist if its needed :) I love what I'm hearing just a lil roadbump I thought of whilst listening
