I listened to Lordi since i think 2004 when i was in highschool know i used to make fun of a friend who claimed to be satanist with "the devil is a loser", not sure why you say "underrated band" i heard somewhere they are all over the place in Finland not sure about worldwide . But in this video compared to older ones even the band looks somewhat unmotivated or they just follow the script what is important is that music is still awesome.
The ending was a nice nod to Thriller where everything seems normal but then the guy turns to the camera to show his true self, complete with the laugh in the background.
Alright. This was the best one so far. I'm guessing this album will be the highlight of the collection for me. Showing the past members in the background was a nice touch too. As someone who has followed the band since the times of Get Heavy, that really took me back.
This video highlights the insane amount of detail Mr. Lordi and the crew put onto their work. The nods to the past in terms of referring to former members in the backdrop; the references to Lordi’s visual influences like Evil Dead, Thriller and most importantly the style of the video being in the vain Pete Riski’s early Lordi music video work. This video is genius, let alone ‘Borderline’ being LORDI’s best ever single.
This is a classic style lordi song. I think every one will find his favorite Lordi style in the upcoming 7 Album release. So thats a Great idea. In the past when lordi tried something New, there are always Fans that didnt liked it because they wanted the classic lordi stuff. Now noone will be Mad
I honestly don't think there's a harder working band out there than Lordi. The amount of effort they put into their tours/music videos combined with the amount of music they put out is unreal.
@@acidreflex25 if only more than 3 songs were decent out of 7 albums. This is by far the best song since Blood Red Sandman. Yes. I'm an old school fan of Lordi. This is AMAZING. It is corny but flawless and it doesn't try hard. This is just beautiful and I can put money on the table that if THIS song was released in the 80s, it would have been a HUGE radio hit!
Pity that the new guitarist kinda ruins the live song in places with try hard guitar soloist stuff. Amen had totally less-is-more thing going on and, just my view, but it suits well with Lordi catchy easy-going tunes.
My introduction to Lordi was their movie, Dark Floors, which led me to check out the videos in the Special Features. I've loved them ever since. Their music never fails to put a smile on my face
Dude to be down in a boardwalk like the Steel Pier or Wildwood Boardwalk and have these guys come out to do a show on one of the roads would be fucking awesome.
This is my favorite band in the world. Great to see they still have it! I remember when I won the video contest for "Deadache" back in 2008. That was such a special moment.
That was really cool, especially love the nod to thriller at the end. Now I'm starting to feel like it's almost my favorite holiday. Thanks guys and keep rockin'.
It’s been 15 years since I first heard Lordi’s music. Happened to be live and in person at Ozzfest. Still one of the greatest live acts I’ve ever seen. I hope to see you guys tour the US soon!
Lordi finaly has returned. This is the best song after long time. Maybe the Deadache album was in this level but even the 2006. Awesome sound, great mixing, this song has soul, power , fu..ing awesome
Congrats from Brazil.
Muita saudades do Ox, Kita, Awa. ♥️

Does anything good come from Eurovision
That's why I love Lordi. Always trying new stuff while staying true to themselfs
seeing the past band members made me super happy, this whole song gave me a warm fuzzy. it feels like home
I wonder where they are now? What do they look like now without their costumes? How did they felt after the events at Eurovision 2006?

Maybe the best music video Lordi has ever made! And also what a cachy song! Pure 80's, loved it!
Nope, Blood Red Sandman, Devil is a Loser and Hard Rock Hallelujah are the best music videos
I 'd still say Blood red Sandman is better (at least with all the nostalgia), but this is the best for a long time!
It Snows In Hell is the best video. Anyway, Borderline is a great song too

[Verse 1]
Out in the cold alone
The streets are mean after the sun is gone
No one to call her own
The shortest stick is always what she's drawn
[Pre-Chorus]
Led astray by a knife
Her troubles and her past entwined
Run away from her life
Her devils aren't that far behind
Now it's do or die
Fall or fly, diversify
[Chorus]
Borderline
Right on the edge of sane and crazy
Borderline
One step away from clear to hazy
Borderline
This is the crossroad
This is the borderline
Borderline
Borderline
Borderline
Yeah-yeah
[Verse 2]
Now people know her name
The streets are meaner now that she's someone
She tries but it's the same
Her luck won't change no matter what she's done
[Pre-Chorus]
Led astray by a knife
Her troubles and her past entwined
Run away from her life
Her devils aren't that far behind
Now it's do or die
Fall or fly, diversify
[Chorus]
Borderline
Right on the edge of sane and crazy
Borderline
One step away from clear to hazy
