It definitely helped me out. I just did it and what a fast process it was. I haven’t ran the bike yet but my calibration is the same as his and I’m running a 240 tire and n the rear plus my gearing is converted as well to compensate an 18” wheel and appropriate gearing
I just installed into a Suzuki GSX 150. It was EZ. The unit's couplers can be attached to the speed sensor cable at the transmission casing on the left side of the bike (i sealed them off with a good electrical tape job). It isn't under anything, like the gas tank in this video.. If you're good at feeding cables through a bike, you may not need to remove any plastics on the GSX 150. The control box and coiled up TSM button fit nicely under the pillion seat and the unit works great as long as you carefully follow the programming instructions. This video was great for giving the confidence to do it. Thank you.
Broooo tell me why I installed this device years ago with the help of this video and retired back to ensure my unit was working by watching your video thank you for the great content keep it up
Great video! Most others I watch don't ever show what I need to see (either it's a shot of their back, too far away, edited out, etc), but it's the small things like figuring out how to actually unplug the thing that always gets me lmao
Just fitted to my 2018 Kawasaki Versys 1000 . Used precise app setting set for 105 to 100 kms - Bang on !! love the security of knowing my actual speed , excellent product
@@Omega47.. Another crazy comment, I'm new to these. So this physically changes the position of the needle itself in the speedo instrument cluster to read correctly or is this just for digital speedo's??
A great video thanks for that. Just a note, when you spin the rear wheel it sounds like the rear wheel is out of alignment, or maybe wrong sprocket combo for size of chain hence the clicking sound.
Hey nice video, just a question : Did you have to cut any wires of the hareness in order to install the Speedo ? Because I just saw you plug 2 connectors onto the gear sensor's black ones but no wire cutting which looks good imo. Thanks.
@@Omega47 Yeah I can see it, I had one on my previous bike (Kawi Ninja ZX636R) but because of the "universal" harness, I had to cut some wires... I hope the installation will be the same as yours on my upcoming '06 Gixer 750 😏
I think it has solid state memory which doesn't erase when power is disconnected. I programmed my box, disconnected the cables to it, reconnected them and my settings were still in the box. You have to press and hold both buttons until an "E" displays to erase programming. It works, I tried it.
Help I did this on my 08 gsxr 600 and it's not working I follow the instructions but my speedometer it's on 0 and when I did the test mode and spin the tire it doesn't do anything please help
How do we accurately measure our speed? I’ve just installed this and I did the exact same on my cbr650f. I went from 15-42 to 14-44 and compensated for factory error… is there a way we can see if we’re really going the speedo our dash is telling us?
@@louisajansen7743 what year model is your 650f? Is it LAMS or full power? My bike is full power and with the new gearing 14-44 the bike accelerates faster than before I can power wheelie in first gear and clutch up wheelie in second gear is easy. The dash is also showing the correct speed with the healtech speedo healer I’ve installed
Cont.....Speedo healer calculator, and followed the prompts. When i turned on the ignition, the speedo went up to 140, so going by the directions, as long as it moved off 0 it should be fine. My sprockets are 16f ,,41rear, so my code was 0,2,9. Havnt ridden it yet, but it should be fine. Thanks again for the info. Mark, in Australia 👍👍
Well some bad news is that when i took it out for a ride thismorning, its runming rough as guts in low range. Juttering like its, outa tune. So i went home , disconnected the two plugs from the speed censor unit and went back to standard mode,,took it round the block, and it runs smoother!! Dont know why ? The only thing i didnt do on installation, was conect that other lead to the unit. Do you have to?
@@Omega47 Okay, thank you, all I could find was a PDF of the manual saying this: " You can set the TSD unit to either ‘freeze’ the speed signal to the ECU at a specific threshold, or apply a stronger calibration value so that the speed signal will be increased at a slower rate above the set threshold. " So I don't know what exactly that means, thank you for the response though.
Will it automatically correct my mileage? Like the bike I bought has 10000 miles and is running a +1 tooth sprocket in the rear. Will it change it to 9xxx miles? Or is the damage of false mileage done? lol
Damage is done, it corrects the speed being read. Therefore mileage will accumulate correctly. If you have accumulated false mileage to due a false speed reading that is permanent. That is why I got it immediately.
Never saw that option. Also if the speedo continues to read the ecm will limit speed not the healer. That's a first I have heard of that or it's a newer feature since then. I still see the ecm playing a role if the speedo is still accurately measured.
they do! it's actually a lot easier and costs nothing. Note how far it's off, take the lens off the speedo, jump the needle over the stop and mark where it sits at rest. Pull the needle straight off the shaft, and reinstall it, offsetting it by about how much it's off by. It's an adjustment instrument repair shops can do for you as well.
4 years later .. this is still the most informative video out there

is it better to have more gps speed, maybe 200kmh or is it irrelevant? OE speedometer is not linear, more speed less correct is.

Is that the SH S01 plug ? I bought a speedohealer and they sent a SH U01.......you have to chop the wires...I sent it back

Isn't it a must to also program the threshold speed "U" in order to get an exact speed displayed within the set limit (U)? 🤔

Best video for SpeedoHealer..Thank you sir!!!!
Tremendous instructional video. Thank you.
so this will still work even with stock sprocket size, cause i just wanna fix the factory error
That is correct.
Hello!
If I remove the battery from the engine, does the module need to be programmed again?
It should not. When you reconnect the battery, same as when you turn on the ignition it should display your settings when starting.

I bought k9 gsxr 750 with speedo healer v4, where can i find this app?
Speedo Healer Calculator in the app store.
Very good explanation. Bravo
Is that the rear wheel I need to measure o. The app??
Yes, just get the size information from the sidewall.

That all depends on the ATV I would suspect. I would consult the website for information.

Go through your connections and controller set up again. You may have missed something.

Still should be using a digital signal from the speed sensor. The Healer will be in between that circuit.

So, my bike is stretched +9 inches. Does this have any effect on the gearing, or only the tooth count of the sprockets?
If your bike is like it is from factory its about correct. The factory is not 100% on the spot but close.
I believe it is tooth count, have a friend pace you on their bike and see.
Stretch doesn’t change the speedo. It only makes you GAY
What about the TSD feature? How do I use the "TSD" to remove speed limiter on my bike?

Can you use the speedo switch between miles to km?
Nick S. The Speedo itself I believe you can set it to kilometers. That would be unrelated to the Speedohealer though.
