Stef, your eulogy to your dad was beautiful, so touching.
Like you, I felt an enormous weight lifted after my dad's funeral and since he has passed, a robin comes and sits in my garden bush and looks into my window every day.

😢 I’m so heartbroken finding out your Dad has passed away whilst watching this.
I may not have known him in reality but the good man he was, shone through your vlogs. He reminded me of Santa, such a jolly looking man, he had so much love for his grandchildren. The bond you had was amazing! I loved when you visited him & vice verse. He was a man of such wisdom & full of character. I’m so very sorry for your loss!❤️xx

Your speech for your dad was beautiful Stef, I was actually watching your Christmas 2019 vlog with your dad last night and it got me quite emotional, madness when we don’t even know each other but I guess that’s the power of your story telling. Have a lovely Sunday guys xx

After 7 or 8 years growing alongside you, I choose to talk. I am grateful four you Steff & Hannah, grateful for what you make out of life, when its happy, sad, uncertain and scary. But above all that, you show how to acknowledge and appreciate everything. We are only taught to show and acknowledge the bright side, but what you do generously in sharing the not so bright sides of life is saving many of us "revolutions around the sun". Thank you for that!

A couple things whilst watching this video: When I found out your dad died when you posted on Instagram, my heart broke for you and your family. Through watching your videos over the last 6 years now, Ive gotten to see how much of a character your father was. Grief is a lot like you said where its something that hides from you and pops out at any given moment. Grief is something that we all at one point in our lives have to go through. We know that at some point it does so we try and prepare ourselves for it. But you can never be fully prepared for anything, so when it happens its like " I wish i prepared myself more for it so I wouldnt feel so much pain." I never really had to handle grief in this way until I was almost 24 years old and then again nearly a year later. The initial pain that comes with grief is indescribable. When it first happened to me because it was so sudden, I felt like I was having a heart attack. Like my heart was going to explode. 4 years later, its still there because as you said, you dont know how long its going to stay and to me I dont think it ever really leaves. Like you said , it hides it the most random of spaces. Listening to your eulogy for your dad, it was so beautiful and very appropriate to the person he was. I remember going to my friends' funeral in 2017, since he was so young( he was 19), everything was very him. Even though I was still sad afterwards, I too felt like the pressure was lifted knowing that he was at peace. To answer your question from the end of the video, I took 10 mins or so to think really about my answer because its so quick to say that I would love to live in a world in HD and color as we do now, but as you said, thats all we know and we dont know what its like to live in a different world than our own. and vice versa if we lived in a world of black and white and 2D we wouldnt know anything else. Being someone who loves to read and to write and to get lost in a world not my own, I think about it from time to time what it would be like to live in that world. To live in the pages of a book. Or better yet the perfect example of a 2D world is like living in a comic strip. I remember the days of reading comic strips in newspapers when I was a kid eating my cereal. I had a very big imagination when I was a kid, and sometimes at 28, I still do but I always wondered what it would be like to be in that world. The simple world where you dont really have the worries of this world we currently live in. But the world of 2D also has its issues as well. So I guess I dont really have an answer but I'm leaning more towards the 2D life because it would be interesting especially with the knowledge of this world. To close, its been quite a while since I've sat down at watched your guys' videos. But when I do, I always ask myself, " Why did I stop?" I say that because whenever I do, I feel so relaxed. The level of serotonin that your videos give me is why I started watching them in the first place back in 2015. Im s glad that I watched this video because its making me think again about life and what matters and what I want in life post lockdown. ( Im lowkey jealous of the fact that I dont live in the UK and Im here in the states because my country could of handled all of this a lot better) But once again, thank you for this video, and a bit of the infamous silky that I saw. Cheers.

I'm all in tears, love you guys so much.. And yes, I'm choosing the 3d in colour, even tho the thought of losing my parents one day, this fear is with me every single day.. since early childhood. I have OCD. I've had it all my life. You are doing absolutely the right thing not indulging Rufus's compulsions as that just fuels the disorder. My husband has learned not to indulge my compulsions and it has been the best thing in aiding my recovery.

Whenever you speak of your Dad, I cry. In 1 month exactly, it will be a year since my father passed.
The truth is I felt a weight lifted as well when he passed. He suffered a bit(a month and a half)and then died. Now, a 11 months in, I feel lonely. I miss him and my Mom who passed in Oct. 2018. I do not have children and although I do have a partner, its just not the same. The point is there will be up and downs, ebbs and flows. It hits and passes. I just know I miss him alot. I miss my friend.
