I don't know why I was so emotional when you were going back to your childhood places. Maybe because I remember having similar experiences with my parents and Grandparents. I think the term "the good old days" can really be used when you could run around in the woods for hours and let your mind wander with no boundaries.

Yes comments are enabled !! This was so lovely .. very relatable nostalgic episode , reminiscing about moving , childhood homes .. and wonderful Clarkes shoes .. I remember sleeping with my new Clarkes shoes on my dressing table so i could look at them as i was going to sleep and they would be the first things i saw when i woke up . Good luck with your move guys . Steph , wait until you see your children with their children and how fabulously trippy that is .. and how quickly that happens is truly mind blowing ! I took my son with his son to see the house i grew up in Southsea recently all the way from Toronto . I held my 3 year old grandsons hand while he walked along the sea wall that i walked as a child holding my Fathers hand ., with the same undulations still there. I bought my grandson his first Clarkes shoes in London on that same trip . So glad comments are back .. Best wishes

I've been watching your videos for about 3 and half years now and have been a silent viewer. But everytime I watch a video I wish I could personally tell you how much of an escape each video is to me. The way you package each video into this beautiful journey of yours is just such a delight to watch. I remember watching you experiment with different styles as you still do and initially feeling negative about this change happening to this weekly escape of mine but then also learning to accept it and see where you took each video with little tweaks and unexpected changes. It's truly been a wonderful experience being a viewer of this channel and being a part of your journey. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. And I'm so so glad the comments are back.

Have never been a big commenter, just a silent viewer, but as you’ve got the comments back I just couldn’t resist!! Your videos never fail to provide a little bit of escapism. It’s a strange kind of escapism because it’s escaping to a different reality - your reality. But it’s different from mine so still an escape. Loved the poem Grayson narrated at the end, you guys have such a talent when it comes to these videos and my Sunday’s aren’t complete unless I’ve watched one! Hope the move goes well guys, looking forward to seeing it all sorted
Ahh that feeling of, "we have way too much shit, let's be minimalists." It hits when you're packing up to move. I know it all too well. We did it though, we live very minimally, and just wanted to share with you that it's one of the best decisions we ever made. You have so much more room for intangible things: creativity, thinking space, room to breathe and grow. And you end up really using the things you have right down to the bone and appreciating it for the purpose that it serves instead of just being another object in your pile of "stuff". It's not easy to do by any means, the hardest part is actually figuring out what you actually need but once the "stuff" is gone, you realize how much you actually don't need those things to live a fulfilling life.

I often find it hard to see it in the moment of parenting but seeing what a delight Grayson is and knowing my boy's about the same age helps me to take a moment and try to see the world from his perspective (especially when you shoot scenes with the camera down on the ground). Also, now I really want to get him Clarke's shoes - effective advertising you might say.
