Great informative video guys. I went down a half size from my brannock on my iron rangers and that is a good fit but like you said on these I’m hearing TTS. I’m going to try these on tomorrow. I want the all black pair.
I would say 8 or 8.5 depending on your foot shape. If you don’t live near a red wing store- I’m pretty sure Red Wing has free return shipping. So, you could feasibly order two pairs to try, send the one back that doesn’t fit you. Zappos also has free returns.
I’ve been wanting to pick these Chelsea’s up but my nearest store is about 90 minutes away from me. Do these run true to size or should I get a half or full size smaller than my brannock size?

Hey guys, do you know if the newer versions of the chelsea come with the canvas interior liner as opposed to the mesh lining. I've seen recent reviews showing the canvas liner but purchased a pair online that arrived with the mesh interior that I'm not a fan of.
Hi, inside the toe vamp it is a synthetic mesh material. It’s not necessarily a bad thing- they use that material to allow for airflow, also for comfort.
As much as I don’t like the foam materials, I don’t think it’s terrible. Red wing should stick to their standard construction in my opinion but as long as they don’t sell out and make this the standard construction it’s alright. Im more concerned about how lazy red wing is lately. They’re a gigantic corporation and they really should be doing more with what they have. Its not like the demand isn’t there, RW is just lazy these days.
Was the sizing weird; I bought my regular size on the 8 last and had to size up a half size because it was extremely tight; but then got a 10 and I’m swimming lol what gives
That is odd. Typically you would need to size down 1/2-1 size with this boot. If you’re a size 10 in brannock device measurement, I would recommend a 9.5 or even 9. Although, I don’t own a pair of Classic Chelsea, I’ve tried them on at the local RW store. My foot size is 9D, I would wear a 8D. They will fit tight when new, as long as your toes aren’t touching the front of the boot.
I'm in England got the Red Wing 3304 Chelsea in tan brown with oil resistant heels and soles, love them, replaced my RM Williams with them, great decision, RM Williams gone massively downhill quality wise.

Yeah, I know people complain about the “break-in”… but, I never had an issue with it. Red Wings are always comfortable right out of the box for me.

I had to go down a whole size for my IR's, there's no way my brannock would be correct in those. Even a half size down I was swimming in them.
