Rengifo is very undervalued. Any team that ends up with him is getting a very dependable bat and a good glove at multiple positions. I’d like to think of him as a super utility player!
I could see the Orioles go for Fedde. It just seems like the type of trade Ellias would go after, not a Crochett or Luzardo. Maybe the O's for Matt Moore also with Columbe down, and any extra bp help would be nice, or bringing Tanner Scott home.
Tigers fan here....they're not buying this deadline. They're gonna sell their one year deals, and then try to put the money out there (if they actually do) in the off season
Angels have some players that can be very impactful additions and all are under reasonable contracts. You can add closer Estevez and Taylor Ward to this list. Anderson has been unbelievable with the top WAR for any pitcher in the majors-- and he plays on a crappy team.
This feels like the best of the rest trade targets -- this is not to disrespect these players but like you said we want to see the big names like Roberts , Pete A etc
It’s true, but that’s why I respect Feinsand, instead of chasing clicks with big names that might be long shots, he’s giving us a list of realistic trade targets.
Jim, the Dodgers don't really have a ton of pitching... 1. Buehler will struggle for a while until he finds command but there's no guarantee he will, 2. Kersh is still about to pitch a rehab game (they don't know yet how he'll look), 3. Sheehan, Gonsolin, Brasier, Graterol and even Frasso are out this season, 4. they still can't determine if Yamamoto will be, in fact, available later on and on what capacity, 5. even if May comes back in August, he won't have time to recover his command before playoffs, 6. Kelly is in limbo, 7. Bobby is just coming back so they have to see where he's at... so they can only really count on Glasnow, Stone and Paxton as starters. Even if Bobby is ok, in playoffs you HAVE to expect that him and Stone are going to struggle
That's Seattle's top starter with years of control. The price tag he would come with would be insane. The price would be a player the Orioles would simply not trade as well. Also, the Mariners biggest need is 2B and RF. It would take a player with the kind of value Rutchman provides but at a position they have a need for. This isn't happening.
@@Methoes123 I know who Basallo is. Very highly ranked and regarded prospect in the Orioles farm. I'll give you credit for understanding that if you want pretty things you have to pay a high price but Basallo won't get it done for a couple reasons. 1. Gilbert is a proven ace, established in the majors, the best starter the Mariners have and one of the best in the majors with multiple years of control. While any team should be overjoyed to have Basallo in their farm, he is still a prospect that hasn't proven he can do it in the majors. 2. More important than that is that the Mariners are in there win now window. The time for trading top producing major league products for prospects is over. Allow me to illustrate the second reason which is probably the most important. If the Mariners offered the Orioles Yong and Ford, two top 30 prospects, for Gunner Henderson or Rutchman do you think they should take that offer? I imagine you would say no. The Mariners would say no for the same reason.
Elias Diaz is a great fit for the Yankees. They can't start Trevino in the post season and let it become a track meet out there. Also, Yankees need like 3 bullpen arms, 2 of them preferably left-handed.
Yeah. There's like 15 teams fighting over 2-3 good available starters at the deadline. It's a lose, lose situation. Either you miss out on them and still need pitching, or you trade for them and have to overpay a ton. The down side to the extra wild card spot is every team thinks they have a chance to make the playoffs.
Vaughn is finally playing well and showing power but I am not sure why Seattle needs a 1B with France, Luke Raley and Tyler Locklear in the wings. They have weaker positions to improve.
Pirates trading for Andujar after non tendering him would be hilarious. I would like JJ Bleday or someone of his caliber, hoping they won’t just settle for getting someone like Josh Bell.
@robertrock8778 : Wouldn't stake my life on it! Anyone who thinks Basallo will be O's future Catcher is fooling themselves! Kid is too big and getting bigger. Why he's not getting rounds at 1st is beyond me? Otherwise, Basallo will be a glorified DH or will be used in trade.
Jim, regarding Tanner Scott the Orioles are viewing this as a year to go to the World Series, so I don't know why you would only put the Phillies and Yankees in that category.. They certainly wouldn't need to part with as much as they did for Corbin Burnes, and going head-to-head with the other teams mentioned, they can outbid either of them. Bottom line: If the O's want him, he's theirs.
@@bruce5402 yes. The Mets moved Brett Baty to 2nd base in Triple A and he's raking. This dude named like 7 bad players on bad teams and feels he needs to make a video about it

Thanks my friend very entertaining and informative
Tyler Anderson to Cleveland would make sense too.

According to the Tigers beat writer, who I heard on Foul Territory, the Tigers are going to be sellers. Chaffin, among others, will be available.
Giants do not need a short stop. Wisely has shown he has the defensive strength to play the position and his left handed bat is very good
Keep bringing up the same teams...there are many other teams in on most of the players you mention

Seattle needs bats, and the O's are the perfect team to trade with! O's needa starter, and Gilbert is a perfect fit!
never happen they would trade hancock though

Why is Rengifo not a target for the Dodgers? They need help at second and third.
Quantrill is a former Padre, traded away in the Clevinger/Waldron deal. Don't see Rockies trading in division.
Keep your eyes open on the Giants closer Doval being traded
This is basically the entire Angels roster, haha.
Appears the O's are serious about Crochet
Getz will want an over payment. The desperation for teams who can afford it doesn't seem to be there.
Yanks should get andujar bacc or gio
All trade candidates to the Dodgers confirmed 🥴
Yankees for rengifo
Crochet to mets put him da bullpen
O's should trade Basallo for Miller player for player.
Basallo isn’t going anywhere.

Astros 3 games under .500. Just saying.
