I am so sorry to hear everything you’re going through. Hoping your daughter can rest a bit more when working from home and get her strength back. My mom had dementia also. For us, it was awful. Husband was going cancer and treatments, in hospital a few times. She was combative, angry, yelling, etc. it is hard. Loved all your stitching. The colors really pop in detail on the video. Gorgeous finishes. Hugs…
Thank you Sherry. Katrina starts her new job on Monday and I hope it’s a good change for her. Dementia is a horrible thing. Steve’s mom does ok a lot of the time but has to be supervised all the time and will throw tantrums if she has to do something she doesn’t want to. I’m hoping to do another video next week. Can’t wait for your next video to see what you’ve been working on. Looking forward to the Halloween SAL also. I hope your leg is feeling better? 💕💕
Hi Mary, I am so sorry for your daughter’s health issues and for yours as well. I hope you have turned the corner. I appreciate your project picks! Beautiful stitching! Take care! 🍁🌞
Your projects are all stunning, hope your DD gets better soon and you as well. Loved seeing everything you have done. Looking forward to the next video. Take care xx.
Hi! So glad I found your channel! I'm in Colorado US and enjoyed all your finishes and new starts! I don't do full coverags, I love Quaker designs and birds. I'm going to go back and watch more of your channel. Keep up the good work. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and anxiety so I feel for you! Hugs to you and Caitrina!
Yvonne…I’m so glad you found my channel. I’m in Utah so not terribly far from you. We were in Colorado on vacation in 2021. We based ourselves in Montrose and toured around that area. It was beautiful. I’m sorry to hear of your Fibromyalgia and anxiety. I hope you are doing well. ❤️
Hello there. Glad you felt up to making another video. You do some lovely stitching. I know you have some big issues to deal with at the moment and those must be really hard to deal with. Never feel under pressure to get a video done, we will wait. I'm glad you get some relief by stitching when you can. X
Thank you so much Linda! I enjoy making the videos so it’s annoying when life gets in the way! 😊 Thankfully we’ve had a couple of better weeks which has been nice. I appreciate you sharing my stitching journey with me. ❤️
Mary i'm so sorry to hear about your being unwell and your daughter's struggles. Thinking of you all and sending my love. I enjoyed seeing all your stitching that you have managed and those that you have planned ahead. Barbara ana is looking great. I have that one to do at some point. It will be lovely for you to have your brother visit...... he better arrive with lots of Scottish goodies for you x
Hi Karen! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. 💕 I am excited to start my Halloween stitching this weekend. Looking forward to starting the Barbara Ana charts. I’m sure we will have a list of goodies for my brother to bring over!! 😁❤️
I enjoyed seeing all of your stitching. I stitched my first Barbara Ana design earlier this year and am now on my fourth one. I am going to have a wall dedicated to her designs in my home somewhere. Wishing your family all the best, especially yourself and Katrina, it's hard as a mother to watch our children go through trials and difficulties. Sending thoughts and prayers your way.
I always enjoy your videos. I love your dreaming girl finish. I like a lot of the same patterns that you are working on. I am also working on Autumn Towne. Sorry to hear about you and your daughters health issues. Yes, hot flashes seem to last forever and they are awful!
It’s taken a while but I am finally really enjoying Autumn Towne. For some reason I kept making mistakes on it but now I’m making some progress. Another few days and I will put the fall stitching away and start on Halloween. I’m excited about that. I hope all is well with you. 💕
Congratulations on your finishes! Your wips look great and that new sparkly fabric is so pretty. Sorry to hear you and your daughter are going through such personal challenges. Best wishes that conditions improve for you both. Also my sympathy to you on your Queen's passing. She has been such a constant presence in the world that one almost expected her to live forever. Take care and thanks for sharing.
So glad your back! Your stitching is so beautiful. I still have dizziness but trying to cope. Physically therapy is helping . Cross stitch is my therapy too. I'm working on Disney princess rapunzel for my granddaughters birthday this month. So sorry to hear about your daughter. I'll keep you and your daughter in my prayers.
So good to hear from you Cara! I’m glad physical therapy is helping you a little. Thank you for the prayers. It’s been a rough few months but we are getting through it. Hope to have another video up soon. Covid hit our entire family this month so I wasn’t able to do much. Take good care. 💕
It was good to see you again and all your lovely finishes. Sorry to hear of the stress and its effects upon you. I will include you and your family in my prayers. Hoping your life becomes more balanced as you go into the fall. :-)
Hi Mary, loved all your finishes. I finished All American this past July but I think I like yours better lol. I love the Tradd Street series. I am currently reading The shop on Royal street, I am also listening to Spinning the Moon by Karen White. It’s two stories in the book. I am really enjoying it, both take place around the Civil war era and one has time travel in it. Since you liked The Tradd Street series I think you will like this book. I am going to check out the series you recommended. I have a Flosstube and I also have a book talk at end to talk about the books I am reading or want to read. I hope you and your daughter continue to get better , I will be keeping y’all in my prayers.
Hi Sara! I just finished The Shop on Royal Street. Really enjoyed it. I’m looking for a new series now…any suggestions? I have been reading some more of Karen Whites books. I read On Folly Beach which I enjoyed. I will check out Spinning the Moon. I enjoy your channel! Take care! 💕💕
Mary, I an so sorry to hear about your daughter and her health issues. I am concerned about you as well, please take care of yourself. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you virtual hugs.
So happy to see you today. So many lovely pieces to see both finished and ongoing. I am sorry that you and your family have had a rough time. I have CFS/ME so if you or your daughter what to 'chat' then please shout. I am in the UK but we can sort something out. Be gentle with yourself and enjoy your stitching. Xxx
Caroline, I just found your message. I don’t know why I didn’t see it before. Thank you so much. I am sorry that you are dealing with CFS/ME. Katrina finally got appointments with a POTS specialist so hopefully she will get some help. I talked a little about it in the video I put up last week. I hope you are well and thank you for the offer to talk. I appreciate it so much. ❤️
Hi Mary! It was so good to see you doing a new video. I so look forward to them, but totally understand about life getting in the way. Wow! What gorgeous projects! I love them all. Your stitching looks absolutely perfect. I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's health issues, and all the stress you are under. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. By the way, I too suffer from the aggravating hot flashes. I have had them for about 13 yrs. The last five years has been worse do to post cancer medication. No need to apologize...just keep that fan handy and turn it on! Thanks for sharing with us today! ❤
Hi Donna! hope as the cooler weather arrives that the hot flashes won’t be as intense. 😊 Thank you for your kind words. Katrina has had a good couple of weeks and will start her at home job on Monday so I’m hoping that will reduce her stress. In turn that should reduce my stress!! 😊 Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment. ❤️
Hey Mary. It was great to see you again. I’m sorry for the hardships you are going through with your family and I wish you all the best. Again lovely stitching projects.
So good to see you again. So many great finishes and lots of great projects in the works. So sorry to hear you and Katrina have had such a rough summer. Prayers that you both will start feeling better and that her new job makes life a lot easier for her.
Hi Katrina. Thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comment. We’ve had a better couple of weeks. Katrina starts her new job on Monday and I hope it helps reduce her stress. Looking forward to watching your new video! 😊💕
Hi Mary, I’m so sorry to hear about all the health issues in your family recently. Wanted to say that I am super impressed with the stitching you were able to get done! All your stitching is beautiful as usual. Additionally, I recently found the Tradd series also, and have been enjoying it. And I love the Enchanted, inc series, those are a lot of fun. Nice escapism reading! Hope the family health issues continue to improve, my thoughts are with you.
Thank you I so much for your kind words. 💕 I have one more book in the Enchanted Inc series to listen to. I hope you enjoy the Tradde Street series. I’ve been going through the Harry Potter series and now I need to find a new series to start. Any suggestions? Hope all I well with you and thanks so much for watching and commenting. It means a lot. 💕
@@marysstitchingcorner8050 hmm let’s see. If you like paranormal/fantasy, you might like the Kate Daniels books by Illona Andrews, those are excellent. Also Barbara Michaels wrote great spooky mysteries, mostly stand-alone, I’d try Into the Darkness or Vanish with the Rose, those are two of my faves.
Nice finish on All American. I have a couple of patriotic pieces I need to get to. I know severa people who are stitching Autumn Time. I finished Halloween Cat recently and gave it to my son. I'm looking at doing All Hallows Eve by Luminous Fiber Arts. There is also a pattern from another designer called Serena Sprouts. I need to decide which one I will get. If you watch Stitching By The Shore, she is stitching Autumn House. She finished Lady Halloween and changed the colors up a bit. It cute when she finished. I think your stitching a number of things she is. I'm so sorry your family has been going through such a hard time. I have "power surges" but they are not bad thankfully. My prayers and good thoughts are being sent for you and your family.
Thank you so much for your kind words. 💕 I love All Hallows Eve. Looks like a fun stitch. I do watch Laura and have seen her progress on Serena Sprout. I like that one too. Laura was the reason I bought Lady Halloween! She and I have very similar tastes. I’m excited to start my Halloween stitching this weekend. Take care. 💕💕
Your finishes look great - my favorite is you Barbara Ana. I totally understand the need to stitch more of her patterns. Now that I e got one started, I have a bunch on my wish list. I really like your new starts and the ones you have coming up. It will be fun to see them as you stitch them. Thinking of you and your daughter and hoping she (and you) are going to a have a healthier season coming up.
Hi Laura! I’m excited to start the Halloween Barbara Ana charts. I don’t know what it is about her designs that I like so much as initially I thought they were weird! 😂 Your little dog is looking amazing and I want to stitch mine. Maybe at the beginning of the year when I’m done with a lot of my seasonal stitching. Hope all is well with you. 💕
Oh Mary you really have a lot going on at the moment, I hope your daughter improves, it’s good she’s able to work again, I hope she’s able to move forward, small steps! I’m sorry to hear you’ve been ill yourself 😔 I’m glad you have time to stitch and listen to your books, have you ever tried meditation? Insight timer is a great app with lots of free material, I find it beneficial to soothe my head. It’s a horrible thing, the sweats at night are dire! Make sure to take a good supplement like omega fish oil too. I’m glad to see you back, love all your wips and finishes and plans, hope this helps relax you and get you through difficult times. Xx
