I have a brand new 2023 RAV4 XLE and I just ordered the turnsignals in the mirror upgrade. Also the hood lift cylinders are a great improvement. As you pointed out it's a shame Toyota didn't do some of this on their own. But thanks for the great idea's.

I think the door handle light is to bright and not necessary. One year after posting that I installed the mini lights above the door handle and Love them. I'm going to install the 3 compartment lights on the dash also, looks good with a bit more light.

Nice Rav4 4.5. My 2018 Rav4 XLE (Rav 4.4) has a total Lasfit conversion done to it. I may have to consider getting those side turn signals now. Sadly the side mirror turn signals are a sealed unit like the 4.5. Strange that my 2018 C-HR XLE uses a bulb and is not a sealed unit. I did the Lasfit total conversion on my C-HR as well :-) The turn signal is all amber on the C-HR and very bright at night.
Hello Danny Please tell me if there is a way to hang my spare tire on a roof Rack. let me explain. I have to ride from Tampa Florida to ORMC IN Orlando Florida for treatments. its a nightmare on my back and body. I'm looking to put a bed body in the back of my 2019 Rav 4 Prime XLE. I plane on using the spare tire wheel well for medical supplies and clothing changes since I have to stay in the area for 3 days at a time. Recently on a trip on the interstate this, in the picture is the best it would do. When it gets to three empty bars from top it starts using from the battery. Is this normal? Is there an adjustment needed for that.? I could figure out how to send the picture. What it is the picture of the engine running the car at 74 mph. Also pulling voltage from the battery with only 4 bars of battery. The battery level never gets higher. I had driven on interstate 30 minutes when picture was taken.
Nice mirror light install, but it would have been helpful to see the process that you fast-forwarded through where you were positioning the wiring for the light in the driver’s mirror.
I like all the mods. I think I will wait awhile since we just picked it up from the dealership yesterday. I am considering a start stop eliminator. Do you have any experience with that
It would only void whatever part failed . So say your aftermarket turn signals messed up the wiring at some point , then you’d have no warranty covering the damage caused by then
What I like about my RAV4 is simplicity. I don't need to see lots in my window switched. That's a touch thing. You don't look down there every time you want to open a window. I'm more interested in practical options.
Hey I got the led bowl door handles and the power window led switch as well....how am I supposed to connect both? Do I connect the harness of the les door handle to the power window switch harness and then the end of that into the power window connection?
Watch the hood install. Some report that the thin metal up there may bend. I already see the hood vibrate as it's not glued that well to the underneath support. You forgot the horn... a 10 min $20 fix.
Yeah I’ve taken it out on the trail and there’s definitely a lot of vibration in the hood, but it hasn’t been too crazy-already did the horn when I swapped out my grille. Easy $20 mod!
Why has your engine by got no covers or sound proofing on the bonnet. My below windscreen plastic panel run-through whole with there is no gap between wing the hinges come thought rubber slots. Do the cut down on sound proofing for USA cars.
The hood struts stacked on my ditch light mounts have created a little bit of vibration in the hood, but other than that everything has performed extremely well and have not caused any issues

I would not replace original Toyotas part with something made in China if I didn’t have to.it might last for not very long compared with Toyotas original parts.

@@DannyRocksteady it's a 2019 and it doesn't have the side mounts like yours. It has the bolt on the frame but not the hood. There's not even bold holes on the hood

For side mirrors. You don't need pry tool just pull it from the outer edge, much faster than prying it off.

What led lights did you go with and where did you buy them?
The LED light bowl for the driver side will disable the power control for the side mirror when the car is updated with the latest Toyota software.

My 22 Rav 4 has the driver side switches that light up... which ones did NOT come with the lighted switches?

My 2020 rav4 le came with 235/65R17 yokohama geolandar ans spoko rims....alot of other rav4 owners think it looks wrong but i like it

It’s literally a plug and play process. Unplug the old one, plug in the new one, reinstall.

Assuming it’s the current model-you don’t need to make any modifications. The strut kit is designed to mount right up with the factory hardware
