Your hair is beautiful. Even though I'm very untalented when it comes to style my hair I love to watch your hair videos (and the others too). And btw...lovely earrings!
Great video! I have the same T3 iron with highlighted hair and am wondering what setting you use. You did not keep the iron in the hair long at all, but you got a nice wave.
Loved the tutorial but could you do one with more detail on the way you use the curling tongs? I.e you leave the ends out and seem to start curling at the root where as I've only ever curled from the ends and rolled up the whole length. Loved the final look so really want to give it a go!
Love the look! I have really thick hair, Any tips for styling when curling to get just a simple look like this & without frizz? Also can you do another tutorial on flat iron curls? TIA
Hi! I am trying to decide between the T3 curing iron or the T3 body waver to achieve a “blowout” look. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you so much!
Hi Kate! Do you have a tutorial on how to get messy waves on short hair? I've grown out my pixie to a bob (so far) and its the same, boring style every single day. I can't seem to master the flat iron curl. Please help!! xo
I know I'm seeing this a year later but maybe you'll see my comment anyway. Is the Purology dry conditioner actually a heat protectant as well? 'Messy Waves' (don't know her name), didn't mention heat protectant and I feel I always need it on my hair. Or, do you think I could use my current heat protectant in place of the Purology?
On what temperature setting do you use the curling iron? My hair would not keep the wave. It just keeps a curl at the end no matter if I curl the top first :(
I SO wish I could get my hair to do this. I can get it to look pretty similar but 30 min later ALL the curl is gone!...and I have natural waves!! P.S. Your hair is awesome, Kate!
Greeting from China! Do you apply heat protection products before using Curling or flat iron? If so can you share the brand? Many thanks and I LOVE your tutorial!!
Could you please do a video of the the sections? Are your layers razor cut? How often do you color your hair? Do you paint on your highlights or are you using foils? I am also a stylist and find it difficult to highlight my own hair. Thanks
Hey Kate! I though dry shampoos and texturizing spray would only be used around the scalp to mid shaft. I see you almost always using it mid shaft to ends. Why? Also, do you use it instead of hairspray ever? A tutorial on when and where to use texture spray would be really helpful.
So cute! But I really wish you would include links for where to buy all of all of the products you used or at least include the brand names of them below the video. I followed the link to your blog and there is no info about specific products you used there either. Kind of frustrating.
I don't know if this helps, but it looks very much like a shade I have (and have worn for years: my skin/eye color is similar to hers)....L'Oréal Roseberry...let me know if you need the shade number as well.
Love your sectioning technic. Makes it so much easier! Thank you!
Hair AND makeup are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!
Love it! Your hair tutorials are my absolute favorites to watch!
Love this! I have been waiting for someone to do a tutorial on this kind of messy/wavy curl. Thank you!

Thanks Kate. Great tip about the angled sections!
This is beautiful! Thanks for your great videos!
You always make it look so easy! Every time I try curling (or anything related to hair) it ends up looking terrible. I wish I had your talent!
I love love love your messy bun tutorial so I'm excited to try these waves out as well!
You make it look so easy!! Thanks
Beautiful! I ordered the T3 curling iron with clip barrels from QVC but I'm on the waitlist. Praying it comes back in stock!

Great video! I have the same T3 iron with highlighted hair and am wondering what setting you use. You did not keep the iron in the hair long at all, but you got a nice wave.

What texture spray did you use? Love your hairstyles!
Very nice xx
I love your hair😍😍😍
Great tutorial! I'm going to try this tomorrow. =)
love the tutorial and tips! What setting do you have the curling iron set on? Thanks!

Hi Kate, do you think this would work with the GHD Soft Curve curling tong? Love your tutorials 👍👍👍
Hi! I am trying to decide between the T3 curing iron or the T3 body waver to achieve a “blowout” look. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you so much!
What lipstick are you wearing in this video? Would love to see a makeup tutorial for this look!
Hi! Do you by chance have any new recommendations now that pureology has discontinued their dry conditioner :(

I love the Purology dry conditioner! It's the best! ;)

Great tutorial! Do you put any particular product in your hair prior to blow drying?
I SO wish I could get my hair to do this. I can get it to look pretty similar but 30 min later ALL the curl is gone!...and I have natural waves!!

Is your hair naturally that thick and voluminous or do you use products for it to be that way? :) so beautiful!
I like your videos , can you give some tricks for long hair too
What was the texturizing spray, I was using the garner but I have not seen it anymore?
Redken wind blown!
What texturing spray did you use?!?!
So RUclips has hit again and unsubscribed me from your channel somehow! Good thing I've kept up with you on snapchat ☺️
What will you do when the curl doesn’t want to hold?

I just need you to come do my hair
P.s. Hi from Scotland xxx

I agree. I come to not only learn how to style hair but what products are good.
Why do you not want the curls towards the face? :)
no teasing?!?!?!?!?! The world is coming to an end!
Beautiful! How would a girl with super thin hair get away with teasing without it looking too obvious or overdone?
PLEASE tell me which lip product you're wearing before I die😱😱😱
I don't know if this helps, but it looks very much like a shade I have (and have worn for years: my skin/eye color is similar to hers)....L'Oréal Roseberry...let me know if you need the shade number as well.
I don’t really understand the sectioning. You should should’ve shown us how you do it.
