When I curl my hair I'm not getting my curls to stay like yours after it comes out of the iron. I have curly hair, do I need more heat or some type of setting spray before I curl?

Just curious what temperature setting do you use on your curling iron? I think I am having lots of trouble because my temperature is too hot and I cant hold it too long without a burning smell.

What I used: - lightweight styling whip Full Blown Volume from Fekkai - root spray Superstar from TIGI - dry texturizing spray from Oribe - a little bit of medium finish Luminous Hairspray from MoroccanOil What am I doing wrong? *sobs
shelpen sleek hair is so frustrating sometimes! In my experience, my hair doesn't hold curl well if it's been washed recently. A little product and texture definitely seems to help me too. I also try to put slightly damp hair up different ways at night if I know I will want some texture to work with the next day. Hot rollers are good too, especially if you roll the curl back up and pin it after taking it out so that it cools down while it's still in that shape. I haven't mastered that yet though. Hang in there and keep experimenting!

I know it’s a BaByliss. I have the 1 inch (maybe 1.25inch) version that also turns into a wand by removing the clip.

Pok Pak she used the living proof dry volume and texture and the hairspray is probably Kenra volume 25.
