NICEEE!!!!!! As a "pianist" since I've been playing piano for about 4 years, I know that this part has a lot of complexity! It is an achievement that you have been able to play it at a good tempo and so well articulated and managed! congratulations =D
Really cool seeing it slowed down. Always makes me wonder how this seemingly random arrangement of RH patterns can sound so amazing … though that's probably why it sounds so great lol. Looks quite daunting to approach though so great job!
This is absolutely beautiful, words cannot describe what a masterpiece this piece is. Even those it’s slightly slowed down, it looses no value, and even more brilliantly accentuates the notes that make up that melody. I’ve been learning this piece for a while now and only recently got to the coda and it is every bit is difficult as I expected. Good job on being able to learn such a masterpiece! Do you have any tips on how to approach this?
Absolutely brilliant, thank you for sharing this, despite it being a work in progress. It is so special to see what goes into playing these complex and beautiful pieces. You are contributing to Chopins lasting legacy. May his works be heard still in a thousand years
honestly pretty impressive, you're definitely doing it right by focusing on accuracy rather than speed. How much piano experience do you have? Also, does your piano have a simulated double escapement mechanism?
@@volcanic3761 well it's not just about the duration between the time you began playing the piano and the present it strictly depends on the amount of time you have spent practicing within that duration which is likely higher for the OP. That's why you should not compare yourself with other people's progress particularly when you have very little information on their practice routine.
Yes, the FP line from Roland have a double escapement mechanism. I believe the weight of the keys are split between three sections (bass = heavy, mids = mid, trebles, light). Source: I own an FP-10. Best bang for the buck.
On an FP-30X? It's inspiring to see you're playing such a piece on the same kind of digital piano I have at home. How does the feeling of it compare with the real pianos you've used? I've always wanted to know
There is some issues I can see happening you should one try to avoid practicing with the pedal because often it acts as an unintentional crutch for pianists of all levels and a bad habit. Secondly try slow hands separate practice and when each hand can get it just right at the goal tempo you can start speeding it up a bit. I wouldnt practice this by playing the easier sections fast and the harder sections slower that creates issues with the pulse. For the moving chords in the right hand bouncing off one chord to the next with the wrist is essential you need to have a looser right wrist to allow this do not practice the entire section at once by running through it as this will not help secure the passage at faster tempi. Practice it in fragments like four chords at a time then pause and get used to quickly adjusting the position and balance of the wrist that is the challenge here because the ability to change hand position in this awkward passage is the most challenging part as it requires a lot of technique but can be achieved by getting your hand used to making these position and balance switches automatically and quickly as possible because if you attempt to use a very steady stiff wrist like this the fast tempo will not be secure and you will likely miss notes. I took all this advice from my teachers for when I learned this piece and there’s wonderful resources online about it check out tonebase wonderfule video demonstrating it there by the pianist who was the first American to win the Chopin piano competition himself with this piece.

1.50x ~ perfecto~
@@ySheng-xr6lu Personally for me there is a fine line for playing fast and rushing, 1.5x is probably just across that line lol
Wow! That's amazing. This is my dream piece to learn how to play. You play it very well.
Thats true
Bon.... adesso usa un pianoforte

Excellent work 👏 Looking forward to your whole Ballade No.1 performance.

Nice job, you nailed it ! I've been working on that coda for several months. Really challenging for a "sunday pianist" like me !
This has got to be my absolute favorite Chopin piece. Currently attempting it. Sounds amazing, Keep up the good work!

Amazing control! Clarity all way 👏
i love progression videos on great pieces like this. great job dude, keep it up!
I actually like a lot more slowed down a bit. It really brings out the harmony. Very good job!
What kind of digital piano do you use? Its sounds amazing
That's really impresive

Only 6? That’s crazy, I’m at 5 and no where near as good as you.

0:49 is amazing !
I like the clarity that comes with this slow speed tbh. Not more, but it's well played.
Congratulations, very well played, very clean technique, precise dynamics and emotion conveyment. My most sincere respect.
So cool man, hopefully a beginner like me can play the first ballade someday. Btw, what piano do you use? It sounds like a grand piano😮
Roland fp30x
Nice job! I still think the peppy Eb part in the middle is harder than the coda
Beautiful!
Nailed it. Bravo.
Keep up the work my friend :) You sound great !
This coda looks and sounds extremely hard even at the speed you're playing it (im guessing its around 70%) great job
is this direct line audio? the quality is fantastic. this is the quality all piano recordings should be! (minus the light white noise sounds)
which Roland do u have? Amazing video
Nice one! Am learning this piece too. But only until page 7
sounds great
Impressive
Never quit
Amazing, the speed is good, can be a little faster, but is great, dinamic is awesome and ritim too
It sounds perfect when I play it at 1.5x speed 😌 perfecto~

I play piano and even after a full month, I don't know about 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠. And I usually learn pretty quickly. Great Job!
I think I like the slower tempo

Incredible. I am pretty sure that no matter the speed the coda must be memorized in order to look at the piano and hit the correct notes correct?
1.25 is the original speed
