I love my D75. Cheap no! Very happy with the battery life. Good solid feel in the hand. Keypad is very easy to use. Easy to read display. Actually does a reasonable job receiving HF. Good audio both in and out.
The Kenwood D710 was/is legendary. Everyone that had/has one loves it. I still have mine. It's packed with features. I do not understand why they didn't update it years ago with DSTAR. They would have completely owned the mobile market. The D710 has a full blown TNC (the TH-D72 does too), none of this KISS mode crap. I'm betting they will not put a real TNC in the new radio just like the TH-D74/D75.
Quick Silver has power poles overpriced. Bought a custom cable from them last week locally in CT unfortunately they didn’t test it before giving it to me.. Wouldn’t power up my radio and I found a broken connection. Time to return it for a new one. On Feb 14 Quick Silver fixed my cable in about an hour after dropping it off.. thanks Quick Silver.
Any DMR I've listened to sounds like s**t. I can hear it on my Uniden scanner received because I paid extra to decode DMR. My Uniden is a great receiver and it sounds fantastic on every other mode. DMR belongs where the sun don't shine if you ask me. Just my opinion though. I bet Fusion and DSTAR don't sound much better but I still like analog anyway.
I hope to not see any "Whaaaaa boo-hoo, the Kenwood TH-D75A is too expensive!" comments. Cry me a river! Want some cheese with that whine? Suck it up and pay up. This is an expensive hobby.
This is the channel for the latest in company leaks. 😀💪
Haha you know it is , sometimes I get lucky!
I new mobile from them would be great 👍
Yes, Yes it would hope to hear more soon!

I would love to see the 710 updated that does APRS and D-Star like the D75
More radios is a good thing!

We need a new TM-D710 mobile!
Hayden maybe you will see it this year at Dayton!
Dump the D-Star and go DMR and you would own the whole game. Same with Yaesu.

DMR is useless.

Is it irony that you are the only one whining in this comment section?
