Fix for the nose gap I found online: look at the two sockets visible in the video. They are attached to bottom planes of the "mouth". Get 2 4L bars (bl part 30374) and place in socket. Get two modified 1x2 plates with pin hole on bottom (bl part 18677), slide over the 4L bars, and attach to the top two planes. Not an easy attach, given the geometry, but it works. Or a gray string or rubber band. But appreciate you pointing out this problem common to pretty much all star destroyers. Except the Eclipse of course. Is that next? ;-)
Hello there Seven. What a time to bring on this review. Probably had this planned all the time. Happy May 4th. May the force be with you. Thought you should know. Today I just purchased the UCS AT-AT Walker and the Razor Crest. Both are on sale from HeroToyz. They have a coupon for 12% off the purchase price called "starwarsday", for anyone interested. Seven you have been instrumental in guiding me with your reviews. Mostly the UCS Lego off brands are more affordable then the Lego ones. Hence why I'm buying them first. The comparison versus the others makes my decision so much easier. Mould King is fantastic too. The Monarch, I just purchased. Next would be the Executor and the Sandcrawler. Keep these reviews coming my friend. The Sandcrawler, would be just as long for you to do, but it would be an interesting watch. Thank you Seven.
If i wanted to have a Lego Superstardestroyer i would buy several of these Mould King sets and many more BlueBrixx pieces and then i would build a huge 20000+ pieces one.
I just built my first Lego set. The millennium falcon, not the ridiculously expensive one. Still expensive by my standards but I'm obsessed now! Can you suggest something similar in size, maybe bigger that would be a good experience for me? I'm looking for a non Lego one due to prices
@McBrawlGame53 It's certainly one of my favorites so far, up there with the Magic Castle. The UCS Millennium Falcon is 7541 pcs and is $850, so if this was Lego it'd probably be about that much.
Wow seeing you do that initial part dump makes it clear I should avoid this. Just completed that MK Imperial Class SD build and I was banging my head on the table for the hundreds of pieces I had going at a time. Immediately switched back to the Reobrix T6 Shuttle and its nicely subdivided parts. What a relief. This set sure does look nice at the end though.
Not sure of overall time. It took me from the end of February until the end of April to complete it, but I work on it in hour chunks here and there after work and between other projects.
@ thanks for the info. i have this set and ive had it for months but im only on step 477. i havent even touched it in months because i cant find the motivation. still have their 17007 crane set half built also. how do you push through these huge sets? i want the eclipse ship also but i cant justify the cost if i cant finish it
@@samhutchins5890 Well, I have ADHD, so I totally feel you about the motivation part. The answer is I typically have 2 big builds going at any given time, and when I get bored I build a smaller set. Also, I have another YT channel I do content for, I live on a farm and work is never ending so...Yeah, it takes me a while to finish them.
Hello Seven Star Bricks! May the 4th be with you :) I would like to first and foremost say thank you for all these reviews. I would like to let you know that your reviews helped me get a more informed decision as to what to buy from MouldKing. I've started re-selling MouldKing Star Wars sets locally in my country because of your reviews, and now I might consider reselling these large sets! (I'll definitely steer clear of the Millennium Falcon until they *hopefully* provide fixes for it)
Find it funny that knockoff lego companies know how go make cooler sets than lego themselves
Technically this set was designed as a MOC. Then Mould king stole the design and produced it with their own bricks and instructions.
You should see their 17007 I think it is rc crane I picked up in May. Still not done lol
Its a good Video trank you. You help me, I buy this Set❤
Maybe use some clear fishing line and tie the ends together?

Could you make a video on this?

Thank you for trusting HeroToyz with your orders.

Theres one with 15k pieces that has a full blown interior
Well done and nice build
I'm definitely getting this later this year, but i need an almost dedicated shelf to put it on
Yes, it is very large and wide. 😁

Something like this, maybe? ruclips.net/video/gXXHcHIC5As/видео.html
@@SevenStarBricks ohhh yea this is the one for me. Thank you
What would you recommend this one? Or venator ucs? Which is bigger? And which is cool? Love to watch your video.
They are both good. The Executor is definitely more parts and much wider than the Executor. Pick one, buy it now, then get the other later.
Do you think this is the best set made by mould king?
And also if its a 7k piece build how much would it be if it was made by lego themselves?

What was your build time on this thing?

i’ve been looking into this. Do you think i should buy it for my birthday?
If you have birthday money, this is a great set. I don't say that about too many Mould King sets, but I really like this one, so yes, go for it!

do you need superglue i wana buy it but im afraid its gana be to heavy so it will just fall down
Nope, no glue needed. They include 2 additional stands to prevent sagging, but I've moved this from table to table about a dozen times and no issues.
@@SevenStarBricks ok ive heard it needs super glue but yeah nice set thanks ima by it deff
Great review I love Mould king! use a rubber band on the front to close the lips
Just a small technic construction inside would be enough to hold the plates together. 👍
Not a LEGO. Meh.
So?
So?
@@Lumber91 You. Meh.
It would be a $1000 lego set, so you meh
@@QuandaleDingle-yf2io fr not all of us have tons of money to drop when all we want is to build a set ☹️
