Beautiful form, and nice use of the epoxy rings. Using a roughing gouge or bowl gouge horizontally or as flat as you show can be dangerous inviting a deep catch. Especially with the tool rest as far away from the work. Better to drop the handle and use the bevel to control the depth of the cut. This also makes the cut a slicing action and not a grain-tearing scrape. I also suspect that the HSS tools should be sharpened to prevent the parting tool chatter at about 08.30 (ish)
Such a wonderful idea! Thanks for sharing. Quick question if you don't mind? Did you use hot glue to make for mould? if so what type do you use? Thanks, Mike
Thank you very much! Yes, I did use a hot glue... just a regular hot glue sticks and gun. I'm not really familiar with different types. It's all I use and know 😅
@@DPerney1 oh, ok that's what I thought. Someone else mentioned they were cracking up...and I thought you were also seeing something they were and I wasn't.
At 7 minutes and 23 seconds, while impressive, the design isn’t quite fit for a King just yet. In the end it is certainly marvelous, but better suited for a magician or wizard. A King's goblet should embody stability, with any decorative features serving a clear purpose-without moving parts, especially if they are purely ornamental.
Yeah, we're talking worldly ! .... I would not call that worthy of a king. That's commoner class people. A king would expect far better ! .... You would likely be thrown in a dungeon. For disrespecting a king. YOU WOULD HAVE TO STEP IT UP TO ROYALTY LEVEL. You must not have much respect for a king.
Wow...great goblet.....looks like a lot of work
You have chosen... Wisely
Yep. I was waiting for the gigantic circular saw to swing down and... er... split the scene.😲
Amazing! You have so much patience and skill ❤
Amazing work! Great job!
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
Absolutely beautiful
Brilliant work!
Sooooo beautiful❤❤❤❤❤
Really so beautiful
Very nice 👍
Love It!
I actually like it as a vase. 🙃
That would fall over lol
@@nomusicrc not if you make a concave bottom...I believe he or she was talking about half way through the project.
@@morgancalvi6675 it would still be too top heavy
@@nomusicrc I'm not sure I'm seeing what you are. If you go through half was through the video and made a base...there's no way it would be top heavy.
@@morgancalvi6675 correct you would need a stable base
Beautiful

@@WoodWorkshopTV Haha ok, thanks for getting back to me 😀
💯👌🇧🇷
Very nice goblet. Love the epoxy work. Curious, is that a special wrap you used to made the resin chamber. It looks like corrugated plastic. Thanks!
Зачем эти кольца из смолы? Не поняла! 😊😅😮
Ich habe dieses Video meinen Kindern gezeigt, und jetzt lachen sie so laut, dass die Nachbarn vorbeikamen, um zu sehen, was passiert ist😛

Once again, microplastics were produced even though they were completely unnecessary!
Yeah, well, 1,500,000 years from now nobody'll care, so... I'm not bothered. 🤭
