@@wanderer5200 I believe what you're referring to are lines to help the pilots determine dive angles used for bombing. Bob Hoover talked about it a bit in his book “Forever Flying”. Some Sabres had decals applied to the inside of the canopy which indicated 8 primary dive-bombing angles to assist pilots in making their attacks.
Please excuse me but what are those black lines on the sides of the canopy?
