My wife is chronically ill and can't do what she used to love to do anymore. She can't go out. She can't do chores around the house. She can't cook or do loundry ect. How can I make her feel that it doesen't matter what she can or can't do? All I care about is that she is alive and happy even when she's in a lot of pain. But can I support?
I am sorry to hear about your wife. That is hard for both of you... I would encourage you to verbally communicate and affirm to her that she is loved, that your heart is for her just the same way as it was when she was able to "do'" more. As much as possible, even when the times you are frustrated or have to take over the chores, what can help her is if you do it with a good attitude and with a smile. If she sees that deep down it is hurtful or bothersome to you to do the things that she used to do, she will likely be hurt more. Even if she continues feeling 'not enough', your physical, emotional, and verbal affection towards her can be a large strength of support. May God bless you and honor your desire to serve your wife.

Honestly as someone who got freed from it 2 months ago when I surrendered to Jesus. The men who struggle with it because they're lukewarm and haven't really full accepted Jesus to takeover their life because the holy spirit is what stops that habit when the spirit enters your body and you apply God's word to your life it'll shield you from it.
