Okay, encouragement time!
These boundaries are so real, that we are legit practicing them as we speak. When it comes to are we seeing family for the holidays, what shows we watch, how often we talk about work, and even finance stuff like... is it okay if I buy this or that etc... This is real life and I encourage you to not sleep on these pieces of advice. Of course you are a completely unique persona and so your boundaries may look different but hear me, I wish I would have had these boundaries set up from an early age.. My mental health would be better, our marriage would be more healthy, our finances would be more secure etc... I think it is very easy to watch a video and think "oh that was good advice" and then go back into the same routines... and hear me, I'm not saying you're doing that, however, we really encourage you to take control of your life (not from God lol) but from the distractions and pressure that society puts on you. You have a chance right now to take inventory of your life... what is working? what isn't working? What things am I doing that could hurt my future that feel good now? What things hurt now but will protect my future? etc.. And create small actionable steps to developing healthy boundaries and taking control of your life!

Honestly, if you have the Holy Spirit, for most of this stuff, you will automatically know if it’s a sin or not. For people who don’t have a relationship with God but just follow rules and religion, I can see why they need to ask, “Is this wrong?...” But when you have His Spirit you will see that His heart is for us to have freedom and it’s not about how close you can get to temptation without sinning. Ask the question of what is God’s best for you? Is it God’s best for you to have someone play with your feelings, entice lust in you when there’s no commitment, then break your heart? Loving someone does not mean constant touching and kissing. It means looking after their heart. I think too many people are just making excuses 🤷🏻♀️

So good ❤️ that actually really helped me to hear it again. I remember once the Lord blew my mind and showed me there is no hard line when it comes to certain things, He’s the line. Where the flesh begins is where the line is. Practical wisdom is still very useful too like in this video. Religion wants a one size fits all answer but He always pushes it further. If you even look at a woman and lust in your heart, you’ve already committed adultery. Like wow, what would that look like in a relationship? He says don’t walk in the flesh. Whatever produces the flesh produces death. We need to re-evaluate love 🤦 even if we feel alone in the fight to do it the right way. Stay encouraged girl!! 💪💪💪❤️ you’re on the right track.

It’s also important to mention that some Christians weren’t raised in a Christian home and/or a home that followed all Christian principles in their daily life.
Patterns of thought and behavior can be challenging to change.

When Tori started to talk about being pursued, that really spoke to my heart. I'm a older teenaged girl, and some of my friends tell me that I should pursue this guy I like. I keep smiling and saying no (because I believe the girl should be pursued), but it's hard when you're not even sure it's the right thing to do. Thank you so much for strengthening my beliefs!

Oh my gosh - My boyfriend pursues me so well, I feel so loved, cared about, and that I have his attention. If a man ain't going to lead (pursue) while dating/courting, then he won't lead in marriage. This is HUGE. Wait for a man who will protect your heart and pursue you. He will put you first and respect your dignity as a woman and (if baptized) a daughter of God. Know your worth and hold the men in your life to those standards. You've got this. Stay strong, keep the faith.

"that's on you, girl, that's on you" For changing in front of him and provoking lustful thoughts... Well... halfway. It's also the guy who is responsible for what he does with his thoughts. I do agree that a couple shouldn't change in front of each other because that could help either one stumble. BUT, let's also remember personal accountability for our own thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Amazing advice Chad on that last question! Boundaries were easy to keep at bible school with my bf but so much harder when we visit each other back at home.
We're about to see each other after 6 months apart but I can already sense how God has been preparing us both for better boundaries and seeking purity first.

When you said your past becomes your long-term present if you don’t change it...ooof that’s good. And so true. You guys are always spitting facts and truth and I’m amazed how great God is speaking through you. I always take notes when you make these sit-down videos and look back on them, very encouraging
