Ben and his sons are so decent. I admire them so much. None of them tried to come-on to Joan after she made a complete 180 degree turn from her old life to her new life. In real life, under the same circumstances, at least one out of the four of them would have tried it.

I'd say any episode of Bonanza with the Indians in it totally rules. "The Honour of Cochise" comes to mind. In the real world of the 1860s those interactions would have been both tense and intense. As a Czechoslovakian immigrant growing up in the USA in the 60s and 70s (I have since moved back to my tribe) I felt those tensions very strongly, and in any cowboys vs. Indians situation, I was always rooting for the Indians. I grew up in "the projects" and the only people who understood us were our Black and Puerto Rican neighbours. I've since come to appreciate Anglo culture as well, and have come to an appreciation of it through things like TV shows, like Bonanza.

I read that's the main reason he left Bonanza. He wanted parts where he was a leader or individual. He wanted parts where he could be his own man, and not constantly being shadowed over by 'Pa' or his brothers. To act along with some of the finest actors would be a dream for many actors. He was a fool to leave!

Benjamin should have married her, as she probably would have produced sons stronger than Little Joe, smarter than Hoss, and more handsome than Adam. 🤠🤠🤠!

Definitely bad decision passing her up. She was perfect! Beautifull, hard working, sexy, AND. She would give u sons, stronger than hoss, QT than Joe but never Smarter or Stronger than Adam.....Sorry that's where u went wrong . BEN U DID BAD CHOICE LETTER HER GO.

Her voice was really grating to listen to.
I wouldn't have wanted her part, she gets spanked, head pushed into a bucket of dirty water, and keeps tripping herself up in those shoes. LOL
