What A'TIN love the most about SB 19 is their humility. They are the only group that is self-managed ( without any marketing/ media network company to back them up) only A'TIN, and makes their own music.
Golden hour is their first international collab with JVKE, the butterfly is the cover photo of that album they also perform it when they are in Jake's concert in Boston.
And Josh is doing his best to learn how to play these instruments. There's a time where he pushed himself to learn how to play in the organ, River Flows to you by Yiruma for a day if I'm not mistaken.
Actually, yes, Josh is a deep sleeper. Because one time he was sleeping and Stell fed him. Surprisingly, he didn't wake up but he was munching the food. And when he finally woke up, Stell asked him if he wanted to eat, Josh just simply replied that he's not hungry. 😅
The tech issue happened during the Fusion Music Festival. They were not even included in the original line up. They were a last minute addition to boost ticket sales. First the music stopped, then the mic of Justin stopped working, then the lights went off. 2nd time same thing happened. Before they did it the 3rd time, they waited backstage for 20 mins. And yet, the director of the show, the staff and the organizers all said they didn't hear a single complaint from the boys. They were still smiling and joking, in spite of the fact it's already 2am and they went straight there from the airport as they had an event the previous day. Such good sports!

The butterfly is part of the cover of Jvke's Golden Hour and was their 1st intl collab. That was an old song but has been collaborated with diff artists around the world. JVKE contacted them and the boys wrote the Tagalog parts. They guested on the last night of Jvke's What Tour Feels Like concert series in Boston last year. Aside from singing Golden Hour with Jvke, they sang Gento, I Want You, Crimzone. Pablo introduced SB19 "from the beautiful land of the Philippines". Jvke watched their performance with the audience but in spite of wearing a hoodie and a face mask, Stell was able to pick him out from the crowd and thanked him (he was also 6'4. Hahahaha).
I have watched those documentaries several times and I didn't expect that it still has the same impact. I still cried reminiscing the time when there were grave issues about their name. I was one of those that waited for news -- waiting for them. Their comeback was a victory, not just for SB19, but for the whole family, our fandom. I mean, how can you not support and love these boys? They are not just an epitome of resilience. They are resilience themselves. Such an inspiration. Up until now there are still a lot bashers, specially from some of the fans of a group that could not accept that SB19 paved the way for PPop to be known outside our country -- that they took all the doubts, all the harsh words from people so it'll be easier for the next groups. Thank you, Sammy for reacting on this. There are more that Chuck did -- their individual life story. I think, you should go see those too. I guess, now you know why we support and protect our boys.... at all cost.
Ken can play several instruments… the clip where Ken was crying its because he was still a baby/ toddler when both his parents left him and his older sister, to work abroad. Grandparents took care of the siblings, he only saw them once or twice while he was growing up. And also the clip where he was crying during the MAPA performance, his parents weren’t around so, his sister and uncle took their place as his parents because the other 4 boys have their parents present. Those occasions were heartwrenching !

The standard of Ppop is SB19. They have excellent work ethic, they value their fans and most of all, they give the best performances both in small and big stage. They're always full of energy and determination. All these things, they handle by themselves for they are self managed, no big network backing them up, just supportive family and team.. and of course, A'tin. 💙
During their great struggle on not having to use their name, they were silent for a month and that made fans devastated, so far as I knew, fanbases started having small gatherings to even cheer and bring the fandom up. You know Sammy, most of SB19 wishes and predictions really came true. Also, technical difficulties/malfunction and outfit malfunction-that happened during their concert didn’t happen once but multiple times, but nothin gonna stop them, they continue to perform even without back track. One time they performed on the stage and was given only 3 microphones, during the performance, you wouldn’t even notice that they lack microphones, they did it so professionally, passing the mic to the next member who will sing his verse. They are really one of a kind.
JVKE (Jake) is an independant artist from the USA that produces music from his home. He searched and reached out to artists in other countries to colab on his song Golden Hour and that little clip was what SB19 sent back to him. A'tin was so impressed with it that they kept asking them to perform it while on tour in the USA and Canada. JVKE couldn't join them on their tour but asked them to join him on his last tour date at The House of Blues in Boston. The concert was also livestreamed for all their fans to see! They guested with 4 songs and then came back at the end to perform Golden Hour with JVKE on stage. It's a must see performance!

That FATE episode daammmmnn!!!! I thought I was the only one realized that some of the things that they said before, had connections to the recent songs they have & what's happening right now to them. This is the first time I watch this documentary. And yeah when I watched Sb19's old vlogs, there were lots of hints like there songs... briiit brriiit sounds, where u can now hear at the song bazinga. When they always say "Atin to", now u can hear it in there mcdo jingle. There are more but I already forgot 😂

One of the traits Filipino artists are known for is their stick-to-it-tiveness (lolz not a word I'm just inventing it). Most of them aren't afraid to constantly hustle. You will see it as you react to more Filipino artists, not just SB19. One of them is EZ Mil. If you combine all of SB19 members, you will get EZ. He does everything our mahalima does but solo. He recently got signed by Dr Dre and Eminem coz of his talents. Pablo and EZ mutually admire each other. We are hoping for a collab between them. Do check out EZ too (I recommend Panalo on the Wish Bus as a starter).
You can see Pablo's genuine wish for bringing Filipino music in global stage and his hopes for PPOP rise. Everytime there's a gathering of PPOP convention, I always look at Pablo and his dreamy eyes, I'm so happy for him.

34:41 I don't believe for a second that was a technical issue because it happened 3x. It was an obvious sabotage to make SB19 lose face but it backfired on them because the boys showed them what true professionalism is. They kept going and didn't once get out of tune. It was proof to all who watched that they are indeed vocal live monsters, with or without backing tracks. Those who try to bring the boys down can go all out and try all their antics but we A'tin and those who love SB19 will always be there to support our mahalima. You can't put real talent down.
It was a tech issue. I was there, they weren't the only one who had one. Several artists need to repeat performances. KZ also took a long time to start her set.

In the video clip about the technical troubles, they were the last artist at that concert, it was well past midnight, and it happened three times during Gento's performance. The boys were also exhausted from performing in another faraway province the day before and returning directly to that concert. That clip is also featured in their Pagtatag documentary, which was presented in theatres last week. I believe they will also release it in a few select cinemas abroad, like they have in Hong Kong, and I believe they have pitched it to Netflix; hopefully, it will be approved.
During the Freedom MV, which was released during their fanmeet, they were emotional for another reason, which was quite heavy on their part, but they concealed it well and did not allow us, their fans, suspect anything. They also revealed it in their documentary.

That FATE episode daammmmnn!!!! I thought I was the only one realized that some of the things that they said before, had connections to the recent songs they have & what's happening right now to them. This is the first time I watch this documentary. And yeah when I watched Sb19's old vlogs, there were lots of hints like there songs... briiit brriiit sounds, where u can now hear at the song bazinga. When they always say "Atin to", now u can hear it in there mcdo jingle. There are more but I already forgot 😂
I hope that they will release the Pagtatag documentary digitally so that you could watch it too. It’svery vulnerable and inspiring.

One of the traits Filipino artists are known for is their stick-to-it-tiveness (lolz not a word I'm just inventing it). Most of them aren't afraid to constantly hustle. You will see it as you react to more Filipino artists, not just SB19. One of them is EZ Mil. If you combine all of SB19 members, you will get EZ. He does everything our mahalima does but solo. He recently got signed by Dr Dre and Eminem coz of his talents. Pablo and EZ mutually admire each other. We are hoping for a collab between them. Do check out EZ too (I recommend Panalo on the Wish Bus as a starter).

34:41 I don't believe for a second that was a technical issue because it happened 3x. It was an obvious sabotage to make SB19 lose face but it backfired on them because the boys showed them what true professionalism is. They kept going and didn't once get out of tune. It was proof to all who watched that they are indeed vocal live monsters, with or without backing tracks. Those who try to bring the boys down can go all out and try all their antics but we A'tin and those who love SB19 will always be there to support our mahalima. You can't put real talent down.
It was a tech issue. I was there, they weren't the only one who had one. Several artists need to repeat performances. KZ also took a long time to start her set.

In the video clip about the technical troubles, they were the last artist at that concert, it was well past midnight, and it happened three times during Gento's performance. The boys were also exhausted from performing in another faraway province the day before and returning directly to that concert. That clip is also featured in their Pagtatag documentary, which was presented in theatres last week. I believe they will also release it in a few select cinemas abroad, like they have in Hong Kong, and I believe they have pitched it to Netflix; hopefully, it will be approved.
During the Freedom MV, which was released during their fanmeet, they were emotional for another reason, which was quite heavy on their part, but they concealed it well and did not allow us, their fans, suspect anything. They also revealed it in their documentary.
