My daughter knows that there's a delivery mn whom Ken orders food from. He said that aside from tip, Ken orders some food for his family too and he's very grateful for this young man, a real Christian in every sense of the word, napakabait... nakuha nya sa mga magulang nya lolo't lola.
I’m not surprised, growing up in a Christian household and he’s always thankful of his blessings . More power to him.
Seven months later from this interview, FELIP is having his first international solo stage, back to back pa! On this day, 9/12/23, is the first night he's performing in Singapore for Music Matters Live 2023 along 34 artists from different countries and the day after, he's got a solo showcase of his EP, COMPLEX.
So that young Bisaya boy who was curious of his Uncle's passion for music, who once lost confidence in his own voice, and took the biggest risk of his life, is now slowly breaking through the global scene, performing his own compositions, and representing the country. He's really on his way to helping OPM expand more. Malayo pa, pero malayo na. As FELIP said, you just gotta keep trying and keep believing in yourself, have that rocksta mentality. Nakakaproud!🙌

Watching this podcast made me understand Ken more. Malalim sya na tao and he is appreciative of his past. He is the kind of person that the young people should look up to. His struggles made him braver and withstand the challenges that life brings. If I am in his place I may have given up early on but Ken was able to surpass everything with his burning desire to reach his dreams. Keep that fire burning Ken!
Same here, na-appreciate ko siya lalo, andami pang side ni Ken na hindi pa talaga natin alam kaya ang dami kong natutunan about him sa podcast na 'to. Like, 'yung mga words of wisdom din niya ibang klase. I have never heard him na ganiyan kalalim ang perspective sa mga bagay at sa buhay, miski 'yung mga idioms niya na binibitiwan, like wow, may ganitong side pala si Ken na kapag kausap mo siya heart-to-heart or one-on-one kayo overflowing 'yung mapupulot mong aral. I admire this man. Really.

This is how I differentiate Ken and Felip
Ken is brave , inspiration and a dream chaser
Felip is freedom and limitless
I'm not saying Felip is not brave , an inspiration or dream chaser. But I see it as, Ken do the hardest work and took the risk para ma achieve kung asan sya ngayon and now he can show his creative side as Felip.
Naging malaya si Felip because Ken conquers all his what if. I'm sure Felip is thanking Ken for being brave and Ken is proud of Felip.

In all of Felip's interview, even as Ken when he is with his SB19 brothers, the most anticipated part is his honesty. No sugarcoating. Straightforward. And, above all, he's oozing with confidence. He doesn't even have to say he is confident. We can see it in his words, his stance, his eyes. Effortless confidence. Main reason why I stan Felip Jhon Suson. Also, ang laid back niya magsalita, like he knows people will listen no matter how slow he speaks or how low his voice is. He takes his time in answering questions. His voice has a refreshing tranquil sound that doesn't hurt the ear kahit 24hour ka na makinig. All love for Felip.

Ang unfiltered kasi maski yung mga ka-group nya ang pansin sa kanya ay black and white sya which is a very good quality…kapag ayaw nya ay ayaw nya at kapag may gusto nya ay talagang gagawin nya at straight to the point sya parati sya yung tipong didirechohin ka nya kapag may hindi sya gusto at hindi yung tipong papaliguy-liguyin ka pa..yun din dahilan na kapag nasa group sya ay nakaantabay mga ka-group nya kung anong sasabihin nya.

I think the difference ni Ken and Felip is Felip gets to showcase more of himself: his creativity, his music, his flavor, his character and style kasi syempre solo na sya dun. With Ken naman, you can see how he complements with the group. Dun mo makikita how amazing they shine together. Iba kasi when you shine alone and yung kinang mo when you complete a team. It's both spectacular to watch.

Its correct. May mga nagkakaroon ng solo hindi sila nagiging matagumpay as a solo artist pero sa grupo nila nagshishine sila. But Ken /Felip is different as a group talagang lahat sila nagshishine as individuals ganon din even Pablo nagshishine din. Kasi ang artist hindi nila masyadong napapansin sin yan lalo na kung involved yong sarili nila. But the fans sila yong unang nakakapansin at nakakakita.

Re-watching this after Josh's interview. Felip is such an inspiration in taking risks, believing in ones self, letting your individuality shine despite what other people say. He showed his experimental self in his Complex album and went back full circle to his roots when he released Moving Closer and Kanako. Such a deep and rich character of a guy, much like his voice. Wow.

Ken is an ACE, The Superior! The Sigma male! He shines really well as #SB19_KEN but FELIP is the explosive version! I love him solo, because he is able to really showcase his style, his talent, but I also love him as #SB19_KEN, doing riffs and runs, playing backing vocals, second voice, complementing the voices of his groupmates, sometimes playfully dancing with his group, and also displaying his powerful, swag and fluid dance moves! Ahhh such a talent! I just love this guy so much!

I so agree. He seemed like the wallflower when they usually have the group interviews, pero meron namang interviews na he unleashed the quirky Ken side. Pero this one, ibang personality yung nakita ko sa kanya, grounded, malalim at may sense.
He can do it best pag solo interview. Yung sa kanya lahat ng time at walang pressure na oh dapat masagot mo agad at need pa magsalita ng iba. Yung ganung feeling. Haha pansin nyo pag yung group naguusap usap or during interview, nasasapawan sya ng iba esp ni Pins na madaldal hahaha. Tsaka as a bisaya, kahit fluent ka na sa tagalog, pag kausap or kasama mo yung mga native tagalog speaker, may ibang i dont know maybe insecurity or hindi naman siguro not sure what it is pero, may something na mapipressure ka eh to the point na di mo na maarticulate ng tama yung gusto mong sabihin. Just like sa atin atin lang podcast, hirap sya magexplain. Si Pins kasi nagmamadali magsalita, sya na tumatapos ngbgustong sabihin ni Felip hahaha ❤❤❤

Ken is a man who easily switches to his little boy side when fantasy seems like reality; then goes back to reality making his fantasies come true no matter how impossible it is. His imagination turns to ideas and his ideas turns into amazing things that he does now. Truly an artist. I love all SB19 member, each one is unique and yet complimentary of one another.

First time ko sya makita sa Trinoma last Sunday nag performed. nagkataon nandun kami ng family. Na curious ako kung sino sya dahil super dami nyang supporters and talented din naman kasi grabe sigawan sa mall. Kaya ayun napasearch ako hanggang sa makarating sa video na to. Kudos to this interview. This is a well done deconstruction of an artist. And man, may mga mayayabangan siguro sa kanya but this is part of his artistry. The vision, the heart, the motivation, the very “selfishness” of an artist! Bow down to his authenticity. Hindi to ordinary artist lang. When he mentioned God at the end who to be grateful for he is totally grounded. You got me. Support and respect to him and the whole gang of SB19. This is the product of all their hardships talent and the discipline they learned in the training. We saw them grow until they master their craft and hone their hidden talents pa. It doesn't stop there as they try to learn more - ingredients to success.

I am a pageant fan, I first saw them on Bb. Pilipinas 2022 and man, I was hooked after listening to their songs and first time ko umattend ng concert nila sa Araneta nung December 18 grabe! Iba yung rehistro nila kung live. Magaling sila on MVs and Dance practices, pero mas maappreciate mo sila mag perform live. Ang galing talaga solid yung talent ng SB19. Never pa akong nag stan sa isang group kasi mapili talaga ako kapag talent pero SB19 binasag nila yun para sakin!!! 🥲

Naalala ko tuloy yung Westlife. Una ko rin sila napanood sa Miss Universe, kinanta yung "If I Let You Go" & nagustuhan ko na sila agad, tapos sumikat na rin sila sobra. Nakakatuwa yung mga humble beginnings nila (Westlife & SB19). New fan palang ako ng SB19, though nagustuhan ko na yung Go Up since I first heard it & watched the MV. Honestly nagulat nga ako sa sarili ko na I know that song's lyrics pala by heart kahit ngayon ngayon ko nalang ulit pinakinggan. Only proves na tumatak yun sakin. Ngayon I am trying to discover & learn more about SB19, kasi sobrang naaappreciate ko na sila & yung mga songs nila. Walang maitulak kabigin. Lahat sila magagaling in their own right & lahat ng songs nila have their own charm. Si Ken nga pala bias ko kaya andito ako 😊.

One of the reason why I really admire Ken Suson or FELIP he is very down to earth kahit sobrang sikat na nya now still mabait at hindi nakakalimot magpasalamat sa lahat ng mga tao tumulong sya skniya pati sa mga fans. He really deserve the love and support of many.
sobrang hirap ang pinagdaanan ng batang eto, now I hope that everybody understands why at the beginning he seems always tired & late to training becoz of lack of sleep, no money or certainty of income & maybe even not eating well…he went through depressions with his struggles family & bago lang sa Manila nakiki tuloy sa sahig sa sala, of course during the day hindi makapahinga dahil nahihiya sa tita/Tito niya…

Bata pa lang palaban na sa buhay, alam na niya kung ano ang gusto niya. Itinakwil ng mga magulang, pinag stop sa pag aaral nung malaman na mas focus na siya sa pagsasayaw kesa sa studies studies niya. Kinupkop ng lola niya, pinag aral ulit, nawili na naman sa pagsasayaw, stop ulit kaya when he was scouted for esbi halos walang wala siya financially that time. Pero yung talent meeeennn kahit saan may ibubuga talaga. Kaya feeling ko kahit hindi siya napasama sa esbi, either magiging arki siya, or mapasama siya sa ibang group. The fact remains na kahit aning roads tahakin niya he has all the possibility to ve successful kasi grabe yung talent, skills and hardwork ng batang to. Hindi pucho2, hindi tumatanggao ng mediocrity. Hindi pwede yung pwede na. Lahat ng meron siya pinaghirapan niya and despite ng nangyari wala talaga siyang sama ng loob kahit sa parents niya. Pinalaki ng puno ng pagmamahal at napaka understanding.
