For someone who grew up in the US I can relate to the Criticism that the first girl didn’t look Filipina. She looks mixed. You have to understand from a Filipino perspective. It has nothing to do with her being famous. Not everyone cares about fame. Filipino Americans always wanted to see someone who looks like them on TV when they were young and unfortunately I didn’t see any growing up. This is why this is a serious issue. Many Filipinos only love to brag about celebrities who are mixed with soemthing and this is very sad.
