I have a 2020 XX with this engine. I now have over 7,000mile but it is important to check oil always and change it around 600-700 miles because it will start consuming it when it gets dirty.

Always check oil levels. This one was likely ready to go when this customer bought it as it only ran for about 9kms when it blew up after he got it

Awesome you did this. Fyi you can pull entire engine and transaxle as an assembly. Country cat has the service manuals for free on line. Page 30 is where it starts. You were not far off for winging it so be proud of that. These engines are very strong and easy to 350hp. This engine 2020 and later are all turbo ready. The sidewinder turbo sled uses the same exact engine. Pre 2020 the internals and head parts are different. Not sure why AC doesnt offer the turbo from the factory. They really messed up trying to mess over speed on some measly commisions. Imagine if AC still had speed involved and they didnt stop production during covid. That is a ceo that should never again be a ceo of any company.

The issue I was having was the axles would not release and I figured they had to come apart anyway to swap the engine so without my crane setup I was limited. thanks for letting me know about the updated manual the one I got from AC was brutally vague and didn't have any real help inside, He has had good use of the unit since and I suspect we won't see any other engine issues for him.

I’m surprised you didn’t just pull the engine cradle and then swap the engine over. Takes a million times less time. Manual explains it easily

I have to ask, What was you doing when the engine blew? Racing or just riding hard?
