Good vid guys!! You should of added Robby Gordon’s secondary clutch lock! Makes it virtually impossible for the nut to ever come off! I also added the fan bushings, secondary spring and Delrin washers from speedwerx ! Runs great! Gonna de helix soon and billet aluminum water pump impeller as the stock plastic one can fail around 500 miles and complete engine failure!
Since this video I've put a couple hundred miles on it and wow what a difference. Peak RPM is back to 9300 and low end clutch engagement is much smoother and stronger.
@@nuffsaid6807 about 2300-2400. I'm trying out an entire new clutch setup now and so far much better for low speed rock crawling. I'll do a follow up a little later but so far it's promising. If you are wanting to rock crawl a XX, call D&P Performance
Just FYI….The Robby Gordon XX clutch kit at speedsxs.com has adjustable fingers with magnets, and the install instructions gets you started out and how to adjust according to rpm or hitting WOT.
OK , Lets see if i get a reply ! 2018 Wildcat XX Alba full open computer / STM adjustable cams / STM 38/45 Helix & Green spring IDK Weight , on 30x10-15 behemoths Factory KMCs. Question whats the best set up for Dunes ? running 15 Racekines 31x11-15 rears 9 blade/ front smoothies 8400 rpm up COMP HILL in Dumont / on the street 9200-9600 77-82 mph
Contact Miah at D&P Performance. He got my XX Clutching dialed but less cost than most of the prepackaged kits. None of us are dune riders but he clutches machines that run dunes at Sand Hollow. -Paul
@@BamaTrailRiders1 it’s a T27, I just installed speedsxs clutch kit about an hour ago….fixing to do the primary now and I was checking your video again on removing the outer primary sheave. Did the outer go back together easy by just inching down the 10mm bolts??? Thx man
It was all wore out and he was at windrock cruising around and it was like a domino effect. The diff went then an axle, trans and had only high gear 2wd to get back. It barely made it back.

You could take a little weight out if you wanted. They need to be 93-9600 . I basically built my own kit for our type of riding

The aftermarket clutch weights you installed are lighter not heavier. Factory is 55 grams I think you installed a 51.4gram one
It felt a lil heavier to me i could be wrong
It’s a T27 on the secondary to remove helix.
T25 or t27 I cant recall 🤔

Please post update how the new speedwerx clutch is doing?
We will as soon as he gets his machine back. He broke transmission, diff and a whole list of other parts.
