Me too….Panera, as a whole, has gone way downhill the past few years. I humbly ask that you give my version a try….I took it to a local outdoor food festival (Taste of….insert name of town/city) a couple years ago and had several people tell me it was better than Panera. And…now I want to make it again lol
@@everydayeatswithmichele2328 what's funny is I've done it once before the real trick is getting the chicken recipe down and the chipotle sauce. The chicken I think you can get away with but the sauce really ties everything together. I'll need to give yours a go since I think I just bought a chipotle aioli from the store and it just didn't taste right. I could eat two of these in one sitting I loved it so much 🤣. I'll let you know how it goes. ;).
I tried this and it this and it does taste remarkably similar to the OG chipotle chicken sandwich from Panera. However, that one did come with tomato as well
Yes it is - I figured out how to make it while they were still serving it. The bread isn’t the same because they don’t make it anymore but I almost like it better.
I thought I was the only person who missed this sandwich lol I make mine pretty similarly to you but I add onion and tomato 😋
I miss this and a few of their other panini sandwiches. I feel like they’ve gone way downhill since ditching the panini sandwiches.

Interesting. Our Panera back in 2009ish used cheddar cheese, tomatos, and Sourdough Bread.

How hot is this sandwich? I made baked beans with less Chipotle and was hotter than hell.
Not too bad actually - they mayo tempers the spice/heat pretty well.
