Holy crap! I was looking at that beautiful stove but then saw the espresso machine. I'd like to see that in action!
They look amazing Joe!
Ok made it, the only thing I did different was I melted butter and added it to the olive oil, ( love the two together).. Incredible dinner thanks Joe

I really need to make a panini and this would be the ideal one to start with
I had a, get this, hot dog (sliced lengthwise) with roasted red pepper and spinach panini, from one of those autostrada rest stops in Italy and it was the best hot dog I ever had!
omg Joe, I am so doing this, this weekend.
I like the music, I like the chat, can't wait to try it Joe
At the end of your video you said "Learn your family Heritage" I recently found out that I am related to the DiGiovanni family. No wonder I LOVE Italian food!!

Joe, Thanks for a good vid, got my Panini in line now. Olive paste is the key.
Good stuff!
I like the background music to go with your informative narrative on grilling and about Italy as well.
Nice👍
Why don't you show what you're doing "up close"?
My husband would love your coffee mechanic he is mad on coffee
I have a Polish Panini maker. A cast iron grill pan and a smaller cast iron pan as a weight. Granted you have to flip it once but it works lol :o)
😂😂👍👌
Hahahaha smart 🤣🤯
Would be nice if you write the recipe. I just found this page and I feel like I love u already. Lol
This sandwich is miles ahead of most American sandwiches! However, not sure what part of Italy this recipe might be from, but I was just there for a month from Firenze, Roma, Napoli, and and a bunch of towns in Puglia and I did not see one panino being heated or a panini maker for that matter. All bread was fresh from the day, usually arugula, not basil, never with sauces, mayos or anything. Yet, they had so much flavor!
For chef Joe, maybe you could work on the pronunciation for mozzarella, prosciutto, etc. And, panini is plural, panino singular.
This is the most accurate comment I've seen about this kind of topic. Absolutely, we don't usually make this kind of stuff in Italy, unless you go to a fancy cafe in the centre of a major city, and even then it wouldn't be grilled.
This is just too good to be an Italian style sandwich. Typical italian sandwhiches are simple and quite boring, 90% of the time being two slices of bread, or a bread roll, with some type of cold cut, ham, salame, mortadella etc., and some type of cheese, provola, stracchino, fontina etc., no vegetables, no salad, no oil, no butter, no sauces, sometimes not even cheese, and it's certainly not served in a plate with basil leaves 😂
The only type of sandwich that I always see being grilled is the one with porchetta made by street vendors. That's it. There might be exceptions, different local customs, and things are also different if you're a tourist, but this is pretty much the daily average throughout Italy.
Right on Daniel, you’re right on point.
Cool guy. Subscribed:)
Ray Charles playing in the background too.....Thumbs up!
It would be nice if we could have seen the sandwich being built. And seen the sandwich complete. Too far away
What temp did you use ??
Hi Joe. What temperature is the panini machine set on?
med hi
Cooking Italian with Joe thanks man
Hello Joe, what Breville Panini press model number do you have? Thanks in advance........Tom
I have a Breville I found at Goodwill. Smooth plates. Makes amazing paninis!!!!!
isnt that why u use a press to press down I could have done that in a pan.
Hey panini , don’t you be a meanie
If it’s singular is one panino, not panini
Panini is plural, this guy says he is Italian says he goes often to Italy and still he can't speak Italian! Prosciutto NOT Prosciut Mozzarella e not Moozzarella! Panino is singolar make a panino not make a panini!!!
You forgot to add pesto sauce in it.
Great sandwich but the music, although wonderful, needs to be turned down.
Where in Italy are you talking about ?
+R Vig Hello! Vico del Gargano, about two hours north of Bari. Thank you and thank you for watching, Joe.
I think this is a Panino from Puglia region. in Lazio we have different panini
Cooking Italian with Joe hello
In the kitchen.
To much talking. Not enough cooking. Far too much background racket.
Brian Anderson oh shush, unedited and casual. Go watch some edited video with no talking and some elevator music...
A tapenade, you mean?
Questo panino è molto interessante, però anche molto poco Italiano 😅
Mi permetto di darle un consiglio. Non sarebbe interessante se lei facesse un video sui tipici panini italiani? Quelli, diciamo, dell'Italia di tutti i giorni. Semplici e noiosi. Pane, prosciutto (crudo o cotto) e formaggio. Niente olio, burro, insalata, salse etc., e niente piastra.
All good Joe. One question though, why are you calling prosciutto proshoo? Italians use every letter in words. Just wondering.
Ho, yes, it’s MOZZARELLA, not moozzarella. 😂
The panini look good though. Thanks.
Your voice is competing with the music very disreacting … BUT THE SANDWICH LOOKS GREAT!!!
The music in the back ground is really irritating
I don't want to hear about your childhood just get straight to the point show us the food.!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
would you say I am going to make a sandwiches? Panini is PLURAL a panino NOT a panini!!
Talk to much
We cannot see what you are doing. You should focus the camera while you are preparing the food.
Why talk when you can shout ..🤔
