I'm in my late 50s, have one of these and utterly love it..! Brilliantly agile, very forgiving, ultra frugal on fuel (100mpg) Still hits 70mph with a lump like me onboard.. 11/10
I regularly press indicator cancel even when I know I not used them, for people who have trouble cancelling indicators you can purchase beeper from Halfords, simple to install.
I recently bought a used 2016 version whch is identical to this. I don't have any problem at all with seeing the indicator light and my indicator switch clicks enough to known when it has been pressed. As a learner bike I think it's a great bike.
You'll get into the habit of automatically pressing the indicator cancel button after a while.. I'm always checking it on any bike. I don't think they are tacky for a Chinese built bike.. Great little runaround.. Enjoy it 👍
I do not agree. However this may be because I have a slightly newer model. I think that the indicators are good and you can tell when they are on, the display is very good, and the motorcycle does seem to have a decent amount of low down power. Overall in my opinion an excellent first motorcycle. I also like the fact that it is not trying to be something it is not ie the sporty looking 125's trying to look like superbikes.
Hey mate, I found that if you push in the indicator switch it doesnt move left or right so you can giving it a wiggle and it wont move meaning they're off.
Doesn't look much different to my 08 plate except for a few minor details likebthe headlight, dash board and exhaust. I love the ride it gives. White vans huh I rear ended one because he braked and I was distracted by a taxi pulling out with no indication. Grabbed a fist full of brake and flew over the bars to the left bike spun and landed on my leg thankfully not on the new exhaust! Cracked my clock cover and bent the forks more than they were already (itd had 5 previous owners) thankfully I was wearing proper gear that cost 500 with 10% off and had a bruised calf and pulled my back liftingbit up so quick to hold on to the little pride I had left ... big mistake! But was a learning curve that will cost about 130 to repair myself. The new front looks more expensive to replace and I like the radial headlight it adds character :) definitely fancy a beand new one though. Indicators are a pain but yiu get used to them I can see mine through height advantage but theres times I've forgotten to cancel them. Keep riding mate don't let an rti put you off! I hope to own a bmw tourer one day or a R12 ;)
In India Yamaha bike showroom's are not promoting their bikes properly 125 Yamaha was failed due to worker who are assigned at bike showroom although bike was good better than Honda shine and hero splendor they even don't provide test drive they r getting bribes from other bike showrooms
same problem with mine mate scary af riding it as i fell of twice in 1 week going around corners i don't recommend this bike at all, keep having to adust the mirrors also back streets and motor ways is a pain... top speed 65, 70+ down hill de-restricted 80+ for around 400quid....
I have Yamaha just YBR125 without G, soo can you please tell me where did you bought that box? I am not looking for Givi or some chinese copy, i have money and i want to buy original Yamaha box soo if anyone can tell me where i can buy it, thanks in advice. :)
Hi can anyone guide me that there is an extra pipe on exhaust. And its attached with a rubber pipe. What is it and from where that pipe comes. I've just bought a second hand bike yesterday and the previous owner changes the exhaust but i wanna put the original one. Everything's fine just don't know what pipe attached with that particular exhaust part
Lol u only get a double brake calliper on a 250 and above , as a 125 weight and power is nothing compared to the bikes single brakes (one is all u need buddy )
the yamaha 125 looks shit and ain't that fast trust i would know i have one .... but it's probs the best learner bike ... easy to ride and there bulletproof aswell
Well it is a starter bike, so there not mean't to be to fast i mean i know a few CBT holders who act like there on the race track. imagine how more reckless they would be on a faster bike. Durability i would say along with easy of ride is what is needed for beginners.

I did my CBT on this bike recently. I loved it. Especially the sound.
I regularly press indicator cancel even when I know I not used them, for people who have trouble cancelling indicators you can purchase beeper from Halfords, simple to install.

therealflyingace facebook.com/YBR125CC - get involved :)
Used one when I did my CBT, I found the indicator switch a problem too, I was always pushing it in to cancel them!
I had the same problem when I first bought it but you eventually get used to when the indicator is
Well at least in time the experience of having to deal with a tricky switch, your indicating skill will go up.
Thank you for the video. Do you eat on your bike lol Iol good video 🎉
look how new & shiny your ybr is! mine is all rusted & fu*ked hahaha!!!!

UKz DoleSnacher Oh and the front headlight last a week maybe more if your lucky.
I don't recommend riding with your mate haha. All jokes aside, it could have been dirt or gravel on the road, or a steep lean on thin tires
Just got this for £600
Mad guy
I have Yamaha just YBR125 without G, soo can you please tell me where did you bought that box? I am not looking for Givi or some chinese copy, i have money and i want to buy original Yamaha box soo if anyone can tell me where i can buy it, thanks in advice. :)

+Adventurer From Sweden Yes you can buy mine if you want she's a little gem!
+Moors Hound actually I've worked up a bigger budget and I'm getting a Ktm duke -13. Also I'm hunting shipping is kinda expensive

Funny
Ride not drive
the yamaha 125 looks shit and ain't that fast trust i would know i have one .... but it's probs the best learner bike ... easy to ride and there bulletproof aswell
Xbox needs help Who said these were fast? That's why these are used by CBT to prevent people like to go off the fence.
