I'm in my late 50s, have one of these and utterly love it..! Brilliantly agile, very forgiving, ultra frugal on fuel (100mpg) Still hits 70mph with a lump like me onboard.. 11/10
I commend you for getting on a motorbike. I'd love to ride but I'm terrified of the only thing I can't control - other people. I love the loud exhausts and the practicality of a bike, but yeah, other people. It's sketchy enough in a car so I commend you 100%. I'd love to see some biking road trips!
Found your video searching for YBR125 info as a first bike and you are very convincing in this vid! I fully agree with you, everyone should try it, even as one-time experience. These bikes can often be rent for a day and it should be enough to fall in love with two wheels or know that it is not your cup of tea.
Great vid as always. As a car and bike guy I absolutely get your enthusiasm. Give it 12 months and I'm sure you'll have done you're DA and we'll see you on a bigger bike.
Nice one man, I actually had bikes since 2010 had a R125 for 2 years then had GSXR 750 ever since! Got a CBR400RR too lovely bike! Only learnt to drive a car in 2017 :') maybe we should go for a spin sometime if you near London :') enjoy, be safe! 👍
Most of us that had bikes only had them because we couldn't afford a car at the time. Even when I bought my first car (ritmo) I had to sell my bike cos I couldn't afford both. We will see how you get on in Jan/Feb when it's Baltic out haha.
@@MillerCorner I suppose you have one advantage I didn't have in that you have the proper clothing.... I couldn't afford that either. Rain is the enemy and ice and wind and darkness and dogs.
Yep, motorcycles are invisible and basically seen as "unimportant" so cars pull out on us all the Time, and some block you filtering which drives me up the wall. I definitely would like to go on a ride with you some time to develop your skills more. Top tip for riding, never ride on a full stomach, it's absolutely horrible and spoils the ride entirely Oh and yes, you go where you look, done the dumb thing once myself lol
Not quite true, my friend - Bought the YBR in August 2018, sold it in October 2019 only to free up space and money for another bike, which I never plan to sell!
Up for debate 😉 and loving it, man! Will do small things here and there, but early next year, I'll be getting my A2 licence, so a new bike will happen then 😁
Im suprised you only have this many subscribers. Really good channel. Well done mate. Nice bike as well
Thanks man! Really appreciate it 😁 we'll get there, don't you worry 💪🏻

The super seicento series is amazing i love that car
Thanks so much, guys! Really means a lot 😁 it's you lot that make this so awesome 😊
Your so right, a bike is freedom.

Very true and it's well worth baring in mind! 😓 as for roadtrips, that'll come in due course 😉
As an owner of both a seicento and a ybr, thumbs up from Italy!
Lots of interesting info on your channel for a generally unloved car.

I ride a 125cc I am from trinidad and the speed limit is 50km in build up area and 100kmph maximum in dual-carridge so average is around 80kmph
You have summed up motorbikes perfectly, great vid
Thanks dude 😎👊🏻
I used to ride a bright yellow cagiva MiTo, and still other roads users couldn't see me. But this has still tempted me back on a bike. Great vid!
Do it! 😉
I think riding a moped should be mandatory as part of the driving test, it makes you a better driver.
For sure! I bet if most drivers spent a week on a small bike, they'd be a better driver for life!
Amazing video today mate. Keep it up.
Thanks dude 😁
Just bought one same year same color i hope it will treat me well
Enjoy!
@@MillerCorner what was your top end speed?
Great vid as always. As a car and bike guy I absolutely get your enthusiasm. Give it 12 months and I'm sure you'll have done you're DA and we'll see you on a bigger bike.

2023 today, how many years have you rode that Yamaha? What problems did you get? Do you recommend buying it? How is the fuel consumption?
I practiced my cbt on a z400 bike it was really fun going up to 60mph, my gear change sucks tho
Love riding my ybr! Should come out one day and I'll show you mine 👌🏼 Mines not as stock as your like but it'd still be fun!
Great to see you on two wheels buddy, gotta meet-up for a ride for breakfast or something soon ✌️
Sounds good to me, dude 😁👍

Loud pipes definitely help you being noticed, loud enough to be heard not loud enough to be annoying knob 😂

Oh I'm SO looking forward to riding in negative temperatures... 😅
