As well as the Royal Marines showing the world what we can do in terms of outstanding music, superb performances and precision drills, we also have other members of HM Forces who are extremely good at this sort of stuff, such as the Brigade of Guards with their Massed Bands and great marching abilities whilst performing Trooping the Colour every year on Horseguards Parade, and our Royal Air Force who also have very capable musicians in their RAF Bands and their outstanding RAF Regiment's Queens Colour Squadron showing the world how to perform Drill to an extremely high standard on the Parade Ground. The way the Government is cutting the Defence Budget, and several of the the Military Bands are victims of the Cuts , we will be lucky to see many more spectacular events like this, because we could end up with One Band for The Navy, One Band for The Air Force and One Band for The Army. It is False Economy.

British Army Ceremonial I really dont think so but it’s a matter of opinion. They just don’t look as sharp and precise. I can see more form and discipline with the US marines imo

First my arse, the USMC were formed in 1775 from the remnants of the (British) Colonial Marines. The Royal Marines were formed in 1664, you need to learn a bit of history mate. The Royal Marines role is as amphibious light infantry, not "protecting the Royals", that is the Brigade of Guards and the Household Division. As per usual, you yanks get history wrong, and bleat on with incorrect facts like you know something, when, in fact, you know sod all. The Royal Marines have two arms, the Band Service who are first rate musicians, and whose secondary role is that of stretcher bearers, and the Royal Marines Commandos, the fighting arm of the Royal Marines, the best of the best.
