Wonderful, thank you. I like the way the bands expand in width at the Mall, after leaving Horseguards, and later contract to 'line astern'. Well done all the musicians.
Enchanting Fabulous Wonderful!! I love Navy, my dad was a marine of the Royal Italian Navy❤ Thanks for sharing the video, a Great job, compliments!! Lovely weekend to you.
Hoofin'. Marching behind the 'Bandies' back in the day, was exhilarating and it made me feel honoured and proud, it also made you feel 10ft tall. Per Mare, Per Terram
Happy days & Quality plus! Finally found the names, heard them on the way down birdcage on Thursday night! Amazing songs! And awesome display by the bands as per usual!
They are some great marches and very unusual to be heard these days. I was very pleased to hear the revival of them! Glad I could provide you with the names of the marches!
There was no internet back in 1986 in my bedroom. Just a record player and these 🎵🎵💯🇬🇧 on vinyl…. Complimentary of my Grandad.🇬🇧💯😇❤️ Night in night out… I drilled myself to sleep💯🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👊 2024. Still listening now…. You’s probably don’t know my very close Pal…. Borehamwood!?! Obviously not…. As I were….😂💯❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧💯❤️👊😎
Stirling the very image of a military Marine band. One of the best in the world. I love the drummers when they do the beating of retreat. They have the precision of the movement and then the music. Fantastic. Thank you for filming of this.
@@forbeswatson It was free to watch them march down Birdcage Walk to Horse Guards Parade and then up the Mall back to Wellington Barracks at the end of the parade (which is shown in this video), however the actual ceremony of Beating Retreat was a paid ticketed event which gave you a seat in the stands to watch it!
Ah, the Royal bootnecks on parade. All fairness to them, you do not get to be a Royal Marine without looking for excellence in every single detail. And these guys got that in spades. Greetings from a cloggie ;)
I just seen policeman and woman with their backs to the crowd they are not supposed to do that they are there tostop people running out plus as their backs are turned their safety also comes into question
I wonder, I realize the police are there to do a job and an important one. But could we have them on these ceremonial occasions dress a little more formally like the bobbies of old who in their dress and demeanor looked the part of the "majesty of the law?" Frankly, more and more British bobbies look like overweight American sheriff's deputies.
Muito bonito, só não gostei do pessoal da banda que estava usando peles de animais, sou vegetariano por dó, pena, do que sofrem os inocentes animais, nos tristes m4t4d0ur0s ( slaughterhouses ). Um grande abraço do Brasil.
Nothing! NOTHING!! *N*O*T*H*I*N*G* beats a British military band . . . and to see the massed bands of the Royal Marines is a special treat!
There are still aspects of Great Britain of which we can be proud.
Wonderful, thank you. I like the way the bands expand in width at the Mall, after leaving Horseguards, and later contract to 'line astern'. Well done all the musicians.
They are just superior to any other and something for the Uk to be super proud of.
Somethings we do get right .
Absolutely wonderful. The Royal Marines are the the only bandthat can march 20 across with perfect dressing! Great show DMaj Mace!
You are all brilliant you're all amazing you really are the best
Plod awkwardly parks Van on the Mall...again. Excellent drill and music by the Massed Bands of the Bootnecks..
I wonder if Mr Plod parked the van that way with a purpose!!

Magnificent
Had the pleasure of being there last night, thanks for documenting it!
Did you have to pay to watch them or was it free

No problem at all, I am glad you can watch it back!
I LOVE MARCHING BANDS
I adore bands!
Good times indeed.
14:22 if I was the police rider in front of the band I'd be very happy. I think the grey was moving in time to the music. 😊
Well done plod , for parking your van foul of the march!
What a drumline❤
The finest.
But will you STAND??🧐💪 I KNOW SO BLESS BROTHER'S 💪🇬🇧🙏😇💯🤩😍⚖️🥇
I don't know if the Royal Marines or the Gurkhas are the best soldiers in the wotld. I just hope they are always on the same side.

Absolute precision to watch how they straightened each row after they expanded the band…masterpiece.
Brilliant!
Took less than 5 seconds for me to hit like!!!
Goosebumps moment 1.46

ASTOUNDING
Check out the Gurkahs marching down the Mall .
At 14:10; even the horse is stepping in time!

👌👌🥰💯👏👏💐💐💐
Can’t beat the Jolies
No sailors, but plenty of musicians… I know they’ve all got weapons hidden in their instruments😛
Alas the King is not his Mum. :(

SO WHJAT
Very good, but not quite as good as the band's at Durham Miners Gala aka The Big Meeting 😀
Silly Police can't park a van out of the way!
最失敗的是軍人高度不一。

They are not animal skin but a replica.
Do my eyes deceive me? Are HM's Royal Marines Massed Bands getting better...and better and.......
